Till TB 9X great. For TB 102 I am missing the link to the website in the narrow header for RSS feeds. Without the link the compact header makes no sense with RSS feeds

Good start, but the listing pane and message pane have always listed subject first and sender second. It would be so much better with an option for Single Line Header to put Subject first, where it's always been.
Also, why does it need access to the whole computer?

Essential tool for Thunderbird, surprised it is not native.
Can you please provide update for version Thunderbird 104.

This add-on is an indispensable one.
But I would like the header to be darkened when got focus.

Love this Add-on but since the 102 update I can't see a way to use the Double Line Headers (with hidden toolbar) option any longer. I believe it used to be possible to see the From and To email addresses on one line in the past but I cannot see a way to choose it now.

A very useful Addon, but does not work anymore in TB102 :-(
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0).Compact Headers 3 works in Thunderbird 102.
The web page in your browser may only show version 2.25, try installing it from within Thunderbird 102.
When you upgrade Thunderbird from 91 to 102, Compact Headers will be automatically upgraded.

Well, as long a to parts of the World a totally annoying short cut - Adt+D - is set an not to be changed, this Add-In mutants to totally useless.
Menu File is in German Datei, and always get’s it opened is sabotage to other working with ThunderBird.
So only on star due (typical) ruthlessness to other languages an countries.
A button to click as option, setting other short cut and there shall be 5 stars.
Please use the provided support email address for bug reports.

Great add-on, why on earth does it need access to my entire computer outside of Thunderbird?

Thank you! I hated how much screen real estate the headers occupied. and this is exactly what I needed to reclaim some of that space. The fact that the normal header is just a click away makes this addon perfect.

Works fine with Thunderbird 78.14
Thanks!

For the people complaining about permissions, check the size of the addon, it is 8.09KB.
The old CompactHeader addon was 270KB.
How much damage can this addon cause?
You can even read the source code, but you didn't, that's why you are complaining.

Great way to gain screen real estate; simple and effective.

Asks to have full, unrestricted access to Thunderbird, and my computer ! Why jmozmoz' CompactHeader is no longer supported ? It was great and with no specific permissions.

Broken on 78.11.0 where the header completely disappears when enabled. Disabling the plugin does restore the header. Previous version worked well
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.20).If it doesn't show any headers at all, you possibly clicked "Hide Headers".
Try right clicking a message or the message list and select "Show Headers" near the bottom.
There is also a menu item: View > Headers > Show/Hide Headers.
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
