Bonjour,

Conversations really helps you keep track of your mails and their context - it gets rid of the old Thunderbird problem that there was no easy way to jump to a sent message with the same subject, for reference purposes. It's really well thought-out and the switch was very seemles to me, although this plugin offers quite a paradigm shift in how you work with your mails.
However, if you write a reply to a thread and somebody replies before you're done, your draft is lost. I'm sure this can only be a temporary issue that will be fixed soon, but for now it makes it kind of dangerous to compose longer mails directly inside Thunderbird.
This is tracked as https://github.com/protz/GMail-Conversation-View/issues/730#issuecomment-54701790 ; any help is welcome as I currently don't have much time to fix issues.

Very useful addon, brings Gmail grouping functionality in desktop client. However, when I am replying a message in thread and I receive a new one (in that thread) I lost everything and I have to write it again

I'm using TB 31.0 with Firefox 30.0. Unfortunately, when it's enabled, Lightning 3.3 (most recent) is affected. The result is that all options for events and tasks are greyed out, including the dropdown options from Tools/Events and Tasks. But all of these are working fine when I disable Thunderbird Conversations. That's disappointing as this addon is great otherwise.

I have two key 'asks' for this add on:
(1) The use of thumbnails bring us back several years behind in terms of email experience. Viewing pictures opened and embedded in the email is now the norm. The use of thumbnails should be an option.
(2) As already stated by others, the most recent emails in a thread should really be displayed at the top.
Otherwise, good work on this add-on.

really needs to have most recent messages on top of the threads not on the bottom which requires looking more to read them. good idea, but not quite ready for everyday use. too frustrating. If you want to check out a program that does threading very well, look at Postbox email client.

Great! It can fix the problem that thunderbird reset the scroll height of the email after tab switch page.
I suggest that you can allow the users to style the color, I abandoned a nice theme with black color because of this extension!

Works well, but the image signature doesn't work properly. I'm using a GIF file didn't test with JPEG.
Thanks for the developer and a quick fix for this feature would be appreciated.

Thunderbird without Conversations installed just misses something. If you are used to conversations view, for instance from Gmail, then you have to have this extension.
The quality of the extension is great and the responsiveness of the developer, too.
Thank you so much for maintaining this extension!

This extension shows an odd problem in the traditional UI design of Thunderbird: Namely, that it could be vastly improved.
Thunderbird Conversations has good selection of typical tweaks (displaying attachments, youtube embeds inline, hiding quoted email garbage) and packs the conversation window with exactly what is necessary without compromising screen space.
It almost integrates well with EnigMail, with the exception of the inline composition view -- and that's my only wish atm: Make a setting to disable the inline reply compose view.

Thunderbird conversation view with all this add-ons revived my hope to get to 0 unread emails and keep it that way.
You guys rock.

Amazing. I love gmail, and I love having similar (and more responsive) interface for my company email finally!

Works just well enough to make me really wish it worked better. Aside from frequently including items that have no relationship to the thread, it also prevents proper functioning of many default functions of Thunderbird (well beyond those listed in the FAQ) including many common, keyboard shortcuts among other functions. Also interferes with many other addons until/unless those addons are rewritten to work with this one. But for some reason I can't bring myself to uninstall it yet, because I keep wishing...

I will probably use this add on for a while, until I find something that does what I want better. It does thread conversations in a convenient manner, but I need better access to email headers (specifically I need to be able to copy the senders address so I can look him up in a separate datbase) Easy with the classic reader (which I can select) but fiddly and time consunimg with this view or to select classic each time.
