I don't have a problem with the source accuweather in the 2 locations I have profiles for, probably because both are more populated areas.
But I do seem to have a problem with timeouts. I never had a problem with the basic forecastfox, but it seems when I use FE, it will timeout every now and then when the internet is fine.

I loved to use ForecastFox Enhanced. I used version 0.9.5.2 with no problem especially when I wanted to check the satellite image. But ufortunately Firefox add-ons updated it to 0.9.6 which changed completely name and also the radar icon, that doesn't show any satellite image of the current weather.
I think something is missing.....

overall- love this but since the latest upgrade it seems to have issues connecting and saving changes under options- which I find highly irritating as I"m tired of watching the bar indicating that it is trying to connect 'spin' over and over and over...

5/23/08: Forecastfox Enhanced is excellent - it has become a ritual in my 7th grade science class to check forecasts and radar using Forecastfox. Be careful with Forecastbar it just sits and spins for me... 6/6/08: I just gave Forecastbar Enhanced a second chance and it still sits and spins bogging down my browser. The problem is resolved when I uninstall Forecastbar Enhanced and reinstall Forecastfox Enhanced 9.5.2 which works perfectly (as before).

It works great, exception for one glaring missing feature: there's no way to see probability of precipitation. Oddly enough, you can see probably of thunderstorms, but not precipitation. This may be a limitation of AccuWeather rather than the extension, but it's a limitation nonetheless.

Very customizable. Upgrading from Forecastfox to Forecastfox Enhanced seems to preserve any customizations you make in the unEnhanced version. This made me very happy.

I love the animated mouseovers; I have 3 profiles; and can switch to a radar; cloud or entire USA radar animation, but it would be even better to have 3 profile buttons in the toolbar...

Instead of showing my current weather information in the lower bar it now shows "ff.cc.panel.label"
I have used the other version of the product. Any help would be nice thank you

This is one of the best extensions I've ever installed. Been using it a very long time. But a new source for data should be looked into. AccuWeather is terribly inaccurate in my area.
Now for a problem. I recently had to do a clean reinstall of FF and got a new copy of FE and now the humidity level displays with 5 decimal points. Never did that before. Can this be corrected soon?
thanks, great extension

Worked fine with ff3b2 and b3 but now broke w/b4. Radar image will flash for split second as will forecast icons flash momentarily but then go away. Info does load in bottom bar but unable to expand. Works fine with ff2 and ff3 - all betas before 4.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.5.2).This is a Firefox bug (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=409427) and there\'s nothing we can do about it for now. The way to get around it is either to move Forecastfox Enhanced to somewhere other than the statusbar, to run Firefox not maximized or to make sure that you have a taskbar at the bottom of the screen so that the bottom of Firefox is not at the bottom edge of your screen.

I used to LOVE this plugin.
But I've just installed it after a year and it doesn't work on my Firefox 2.0.0.12 (Vista OS). I keep receiveing the following error:
"The upgrade action for version 0.9.3 failed because: units has no properties."
Is this a known problem and is a fix on the way??

But it doesn't anymore. Installed the latest version, it deleted my Firefox profile, and now makes Firefox give the error NS_ERROR_FAILURE: Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIStringBundle.formatStringFromName].

Accuweather totally sucks. The radar is really cool though if not the only useful feature. Good job creating that. Right now there are no active watches or warning, however I'm still being alerted of severe weather. I clicked the icon to take me to Accuweather and even they say there is nothing in the area. A rare accuracy for them. It's a great program just find a better provider.

the newly created toolbar described underneath, disappeared after a few days, and now firefox does not create new toolbar using customize toolbar-add new toolbar feature as i had done earlier; please advise what should i do to create this new toolbar again. Thanks,

i find this add-on very useful; and view my local weather frequently on this.
also i like its maneuverability; initially had set it in status bar at bottom, then moved to bookmark toolbar at top, and now have created a new toolbar by name weather and have placed it there.
very good utilitywise and placement wise

I positively love this extension. But I had to uninstall it because Accuweather is so freaking inaccurate in my area. I just couldn't stand looking down at a temperature that was usually 20 degrees off. What a shame, b/c Forecastfox is brilliant. Thanks for your hard work on this one, regardless.

I have been using your program since FF2.0 and hated the microscopic radar, now this version is Excellent! Doesn't matter if AccuWeather can't forecast, it's the radar one can determine what's possibly going to happen, lol.
The severe weather alerts are a nice perk too. (for the progam that is ;-) )

I love this enhanced version the radar works for me, but accuweather's just way too inaccurate for my two regions..I had to uninstall this plugin and am looking for something to link me to a more accurate data source.

I noticed that my zip code setting for Michigan cuts off the top of Michigan (Upper Peninsula). Obviously Accuweather's fault, but it would be nice to have a separate location setting for radar from the forecast, so I can set radar to look at Wisconsin instead.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.5.2).That's exactly what the custom radars are for. Go to the Accuweather site that has the image you want, right-click on the image, press Copy Image Location and paste into the Custom URL box.
