Ein tolles Add-on! Benutze sie seit Jahren. Würde mich sehr freuen, wenn es auf Thunderbird 78.7.1 funktionieren würde! Vielen Dank für die tolle Arbeit!

Does not work with Thunderbird 78!
Can we please have this updated, or source available for someone to make it compatible with the latest Thunderbird.

There are no other ways to sync Google contacts automatically with Thunderbird, it is a feature I need, so I am having to use another email client!

gContanctSync has been an integral part of my Thunderbird life for years. Now it's stopped working and I'm devastated. Thunderbird also removed colour from the folders, so colour cues now missing :( Hope gContactSync gets fixed really soon or I'll have to switch email clients.

On ne remercie jamais assez les personnes qui nous rendent service.
Merci à toi Josh Geenen pour ce super add-on qui m'a bien aidé durant des années. Hélas, dommage qu'il ne fonctionne plus avec les dernières versions de TBird.

I would like to thank Thunderbird for so many years offering an excellent software. I have been using it as the main email software even having access to private and company solutions.
Nevertheless, the last updates affecting the app gContactSync led me to definitively choose other software for using electronic mail. From now, I will use TB just eventually as secondary email software.
I cannot spend much time to all the inconveniences coming up from the last update.
Thank you for your service so far.

Ce module fonctionnait parfaitement jusqu'à la mise à jour 78.6.1 de TB. Pourriez vous s'il vous plait mettre votre génial module à jour ? Je suis même prête à l'acheter ! Merci par avance

I've been using gContactSync for years on Thunderbird on Linux.

Unfortunately it stopped working with the newer versions. I am using version 78.6.1 (64-bit).

Please upgrade to this version.

Its extension is sensational and I am willing to pay for the updated version without any problem.

This is a great functionnality and therefore a pity that mozilla doesn't include their self sync module or take gContactSync (or another) add-on functionnaly into account before publishing a new version.

Thanks to all developpers for a rapid supply, avoiding this way TD's users to leave to private solutions

Senza gContactSync, Thunderbird non ha più modo di esistere... Purtroppo integro tutto il mio lavoro con Gmail e Google e questa estensione era per me fondamentale. Ho deciso di passare a EM Client. Addio Thunderbird

gContactSync has been great, hence the five-star review. Sadly, Thunderbird disabled it with one of their updates, without warning, which finally prompted me to ditch Thunderbird after at least ten years of use. Shame on you, Thunderbird.

I am now a VERY happy user of em Client. Seamlessly deals with Google contacts (and Exchange contacts, for that matter), plus it has a much more modern and pleasing UI. I had to give up a grand total of nothing to make the switch fro Thunderbird to em Client. Highly recommend to frustrated Thunderbird users.
