This works on wa-aay more than just youtube, by the way, despite the name.
Want a downloader that actually names the files correctly, AUTOMATICALLY, can play them for you, too, doesn't take forever to start? What a concept.
VideoDownloadHelper conked out on me, for reasons unknown. Again.
i decided it was time to try another program.
This looked like the sort of application that someone put a lot of work into, and, given the kitschy name, seems easy to overrate.
I wasn't wrong.
If the author has a Bitcoin address, I would make a donation of .02 BTC.

Since years I've used it with satisfaction. After updatde to FF36 it doesn't work anymore. It's a pity.

This is the perfect downloader, BUT whats happening to grooveshark? It wont download anymore.

It downloaded a low resolution while with other stand alone downloaders, I was able to download better resolution videos. I tested both on the same website.

the only thing i'am missing is the 'down them all' compatibiliy. Pls, pop up the 'choose-how-to-save' dialog. This cool addon downloads anything i needed in the last past months. Big thx to the developers.

This is a very good extension to download audio and video from quite a few websites.
My only complaint is the fact that it does not detect and download HD videos (720p, 1080p) from Dailymotion.
Fix this (little) issue and NetVideoHunter will replace Video DownloadHelper here.

Works better and on more sites than most similar applications and is easy to use.
However, I miss the possibility to convert and download videos in .mp3 file format. That's an improvement needed in order to get a 5 star rating from me.
Also, something I experience as very annoying is the duplication of videos in the download list, when playing a video multiple times or simply hit play again after pausing the video.

Very easy to use. Separate download window remembers which video's you have visited and in this way one can download selected video's. Only can't download resolutions 480p and 1080p (can download 360p and 720p). Are these resolutions not supported?

Hi,
NVH (1.14) doesn't work anymore with FF (v30) and Grooveshark.
The downloads are blocked to 0ko :(

hi i use this extensions very good, adn i like it very much.
but when i open this page http://www.vvvdj.com/play/61699.html
i test flash plguins ver:10.3,11.2 netvideohunter can catch the song download link.(wait 10 seconds or more)
but when i use new flash dlls just like ver:11.9 and more up ,netvideohunter can not work,but the page play music is very fast(about 2seconds)
i hope you can fix it,thank you very much.

Uninstalled, opens a tab or window to download or play the video. Would be fine if there was a way to default to a download directly, get rid of the inbetween steps. Think dropbox.
