Fabulous add-on. I love it so much it I keep trying (unsuccessfully) to drag and drop words in other applications and browsers. This alone is enough to make me reject all other browsers.

One of the most productive add-ons made.
I hate right clicking links to open in new tabs - dragging is much easier

Any chance of getting this to work properly with Tab Kit? At the moment tabs still go on the end. This is probably a job for the Tab Kit author though...
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2.1).I assume that Tab Kit functions similarly to Tabs Open Relative, since it's by the same author. The "relative" tab feature is based on a list of sources hard-coded into the extension, so unless QuickDrag is on that list, tabs opened by QuickDrag will not be "relative".

Small and quick, no millions of features like other drag addons, but just what I need.

@Mike - But what's the cost of the extra functionality of other D&D addons? The reason why I like lightweight and simplicity is because it's more reliable; I've used EDtG and have encountered problems with how it interacted with other addons. My experience is that the simpler, the more reliable. And QD's functionality is already pretty good.

It may be lightweight, but functionality is rather poor compared to Web Search Pro Addon, which makes your searching way more quicker than this addon, especially in combination with EasyDragToGo Addon. Invincible!

There are lots of drag-n-drag extensions out there, but I still use QuickDrag because, compared to the rest, it's simple, lightweight, stable and very, very reliable.

First addon I grab. Till you've used QuickDrag you have no idea how wonderful it is. I just use it to drag a link which opens a new background tab. That's it. No drama, no complexity, no Control click, works for images which are just links.
Think the original Maxthon did it first (and I couldn't move to FF till I could do it here. There are variations on this theme but this is te simple light one (just three choices to make).

For me it allows quick saving images. It's the only "drag and drop" extension that WORKS (properly save image) for me with image-links. On the other hand it lacks options provided by competition (DragIt, Easy DragToGo, not to mention DnD Zones). Can't get everything I guess ;)

New tabs will not open. I can't find any similar extension that will work either.
