but I'm still heavily missing this feature that was introduced in one of the last SDAG releases:
- Drag'n'Drop the link/url/text down -> Open new tab in background
- Drag'n'Drop the link/url/text up -> Open new tab in foreground
No need to press any additional key, just decide by the drag direction, if the new tab opens in foreground or background

QuickDrag wasn't the culprit, it turns out. When I disabled the HttpFox extension, everything was snappy again!

Superb. I use it hundreds of times a day. It makes using a browser so much more efficient. One of the few must-have extensions for a power-user.
Have you noticed sluggish, slow performance? For a while, dragging an "L" shape to close a tab produced not an "L" but a diagonal line. QuickDrag wasn't the culprit, it turns out. When I disabled the HttpFox extension, everything was snappy again!

Very light, and useful extension,
Needs 2 more features though...
1. Save to specified location
2. Play sound when saving(with an option to select a sound file)

Like Super DragAndGo before it, QuickDrag is a time-saving add-on essential for maximizing the efficiency of tabbed browsing.

I like this feature a lot. But why can't I drag the two links on this page under "General usage information can be found here:" and "FAQ (incl. how QuickDrag differs from SuperDrag And Go):" ? I can drag part of the line but not the whole line.

I would like to have a option that enables me to disable the search feature. it's kinda annoying since I can easily drop the text in the search box to open the search page in new tab

This feature should be default in FF.
On my top 10 must have's list.
Tiny extension, no-brainer settings and has saved me millions of r-clicks to open links in new tabs and to copy and paste a search term into google.
It has all the features I used to use with Super DragAndGo, and none that I don't want.

Great little replacement for Super DragandGo. Only 6KB, so it doesn't slow down Firefox, and it works as advertised. Great!

A brilliant successor to Super DragAndGo. A must-have for laptop users.

I am happy to see Quickdrag compatible with FF3. Basically it works perfectly.
there is one feedback which you might consider hopefully. In SD&G era, we could default the image download location (which is different setting with Firefox download manager). However, Quickdrag's default download location is attached with FF download manager. Could you separate it? It will be more reasonable, since we save the pics in different location.
thx a lot

When Dragging an item from bookmarks (from menu or sidebar), Super Drag&Go open a new background tab, while QuickDrag open it on current tab.
Don't know if this feature keep QuickDrag simple. But in my opinion, a bookmark should be treated as a link.
This behavior here is deliberate, because I only wanted QD to handle drags within the content area and to not override the browser's default behavior. I may consider adding an option to change this in a future version, though. Middle-clicking on a bookmark will open it in a new tab.

but it opens the drag link in the search page.
any idea to make it open the url itself?
@Jessy Mclaren - The behavior can be changed in the QuickDrag settings. Go to the Firefox Addons Manager, select QuickDrag, and click Options.
