It opens multiple gmail accounts. Gets you mail snipets. Can be placed anywhere be it status bar, toolbar, tab bar.. no cons.

I used to work just perfect, but today it stopped working and Im not the only one with this problem. Im guessing the chance of this add-on getting any love from the dev is very small.

Stop complaining about this addon which is free to all.
As in the past, Todd will most likely fix this login issue, but since we cannot see in his agenda
we can only wait.
Still one of my favorite addons, keep up the good work!
For now I have to login to my gmail accounts manually... which make me realize how great and handy this addon really is.

Again, prompting for login and failing with good password - Todd needs to kill this this. Writing to FF and asking them to pull

Had to hit the addon site looking for a couple updates for Fx7 compatibility, and see this one hasn't been updated in five months: last update March 20, 2011, and last response in the support forum March 23, 2011. What a surprise. ;) I stopped using Gmail Manager addon the last time the dev picked up his ball and went home--there were no updates and no response or support from Jan2010-Jan2011. The only thing to change during that time was when he added the donation button, while the bug reports and bad reviews kept piling up. Dude fixes it for a few months, then takes off for a year at a time, leaving users trying to figure out a way to hack together fixes on their own. There are alternatives, people--just write this one off. Why frustrate yourself? This is an established pattern with this addon/dev. Gmail manager is a great idea, and nice when it works. But when it's not supported to keep up with Google's continuing changes, and especially now with Firefox on a regular release schedule, then what good is it?

I'm getting a notification that "Gmail Manager 0.6.4.1 is incompatible with Firefox 6.0" and Gmail Manager locked up Firefox 6.0. I removed and then re-installed Gmail Manager and all seems to be good now.

Please fix two step identification issue as several people reported earlier.

I have the same problem as Fatsome. Logged in and no notifications of new mail. The ones I don't have a 2 step verification on do show up though....

I really like this add-on. It is useful for those who have and use as a main account e-mail with Gmail and it is not necessary to leave the page e-mail is always open to see if any new message has arrived. With it's no longer necessary to have to type all the time e-mail address and password to check your inbox and you can configure how often you want the extension check for new mail. Convenient and easy to configure. Congratulations to the developer.

Addon reports that it logged in successfully, but it does not report new e-mails when they arrive, it just shows 0. I have a 2 step verification turned on on my account and I even tried to enter an application specific password but it still did nothing. Addon looks great and I hope that you will solve this problem.

I'm not sure why, but Gmail Manager ends up hiding my customized toolbars when I pop open a new window or restart.

I'm using FF 5.0 in Win 7.

I love the add on, but it's disabled right now. Bummer.

kilartgo:Is there a way to have one single icon and when we click on it, we can see all the accounts?

Right-click the offending icon(s). Go to Options > Highlight the offending account in the right-hand pane > Click the Toolbar tab > UNcheck "Display in toolbar" for that account > Done

By now, you should have figured out that right-clicking on the toolbar icon will list all your accounts, and that you can, in turn, select which is active, yes?

I love this add-on.
Been using it forever...

I have just installed this add-on and I love it. But, I have 4 accounts and therefore, I have 4 envelopes with a number next to each of them, which takes a lot of room. Is there a way to have one single icon and when we click on it, we can see all the accounts? I am a former GMail Notifier user and I loved that possibility.

Other than that, BRAVO!

P.S. To the developer: I will help you with the French translation as soon as I have a few minutes.

Excellent Addon. Works great in Firefox 4. I use it for 3 different GMail accounts. Only question I have is about the mail snippets. They are hard to read because of the white background and light colored font. is this something that can be changed?
