I'm an active user of GMail Manager and after using it for few months it stopped working. Initially it started not connecting to 1 of my 2 GMail accounts and later to the second one as well.
From what I'm reading here it seems a common issue.
Please let's fix it!

Stopped working suddenly. Not a trace of information here nor in the developer's page. After many (many) clicks, found a workaround (long and twisted), which DID NOT work at all, instead crashed my browser FUBAR. Uninstalled the add-on and started looking for options. I don't see anywhere interest from the developer in this add-on. Was one of the top picks for me, not anymore.

Stopped Working, I had to delete and go with another mail manager. Will download when it's fixed. You know what needs to get done. Thanx in advance.

Hi, have been using Gmail Manager on 3 different computers for the last year. It has stopped working on 2 of my computers but it is still working fine on 1 of them... the reason for this is because i haven't restarted my computer in over a month.
For the purpose of this review, i have just restarted that 1 computer that it was working on... Gmail Manager no longer works on that 1 computer now... i hope this helps the developer and eliminates some of the reasons for why Gmail Manager is not working, thanks...

My gmail manager has stop working completely, and have tried the moot version everyone is talking about and that's not working either. I only have a single account with this add-on, and with a single account it's broken. It has only happened today so hopefully the community will sort it out as they have done in the past and fix this in-dispensable tool.

Thanks for the quick fix Todd! Every time something like this happens (which isn't necessarily the GM developer's fault), Todd has always been quick to release a quick fix. Keep up the great work!
I'd really wish everyone would just stop freaking out about everything, but there's nothing I can do about that.

Rather than try to fix an extension that is not supported, can someone suggest the best replacement out there? I absolutely loved this extension but I understand the developer doesn't have time to handle all of Google's changes. The best replacement I could find is Google Mail Checker Plus for Chrome but I would have to move away from Firefox.

This Add-on didn't work since four days. The workaround with the mook-version crashed the whole browser. The only way for me was to deactivate this Add-on. Cannot understand why my old comment was deleted (would be nice to get be informed about the reason). Therefore I'm writing this again in the hope that it will not be deleted anymore … :-(

Worked before the last update now it doesnt work anymore, not only for me but a lot of other friends too like 12 persons.
The fix isnt doing anything, also removing buzz from gmail isnt doing anything, the maker of the program destroyed his software it aint usable anymore.\have to give it zero stars!

This used to work. This used to be awesome.
Now, on every new Firefox window opening, it gives me a dialogue asking for my login details. Even when given the correct details, the dialogue simply reappears on submitting.
I have uninstalled it out of frustration.

AWFUL!!!
Simply awful! It worked just fine at first, but then after a few days only my main account would work and the rest constantly has a "!" triangle over them and would not log in.
The publisher obviously doesn't care about his program, because his "contact website" is completely blank, and there is a forum thread for problems - that he never replies to.
Try WebMail Notifier, much easier to use if you just have Gmail accounts.

Even installing from homepage does not help. Im able to log in only to first (one) account.
Five stars because it is great addon and problem with connection will be fixed. I hope :D

As someone else suggested, try going to the home page for the developer and manually upgrade to 0.6.1
This fixed the problem for me so chances are it will help a lot of others too.
(right click on status bar gmail manager icon and select Go To Homepage)

It's been less than 4 days since the glitch happened, seriously. It's worked for you perfectly 100% of the rest of the time, are you all really forgetting that? How shallow. Can Mozilla kill obviously frivolous reviews?

The problem is NOT the plugin, its most likely another Google code push that 'broke' this. This was the issue at the beginning of 2010, if I remember correctly. Google changed something and it took a few weeks before Todd made the changes. So hopefully this is the issue again...believe me I have a dozen emails and Gmail Manager is the BEST plugin, but it needs to be updated again.
So Todd, please find the answer and best of luck 'updating' again for 2011....

I wish I could give this zero stars because it just simply doesn't work. This was the most important add-on along with Ad Block Plus for me. I am abandoning Firefox indefinitely and going with Google Chrome with Simple Gmail Checker extension. I will keep checking for fixes periodically and will come back if this ever gets fixed.
