There is a problem with the new version of DownThemAll! When downloading multiple files or images from a website, Firefox locks up solid and the application has to be ended from Task Manager. I have reverted back to version 0.9.9.10 for the time being, and until the problem has been rectified with another revision. I did however like the new GUI, so hopefully the programmers can fix the problem. I'd advise sticking to version 0.9.9.10 for the time being! ;-)

If you can't install it directly, just right click the install link and "Save As" to your desktop, then in firefox click "File", "Open File" and here we go. works perfectly!

This latest update of Down Them All! is really good and makes a great add-on that should be, IMO, considered for inclusion to the core browser. It is just that darn handy and powerful - and very simple to learn and use. The ONE thing I really dislike about this newer updated build is that it doesn't retain the renaming mask (I used *name*.*ext* most often telling it to use the file's name and extension as downloaded) so I have to type that in every time I download with it - for everything except "dTa OneClick!" downloads. I do like the feature to download across multiple tabs with this new DTA build - great for getting pics from image galleries that open each in a new window - open a bunch and then DTA all of them across all tabs in one fell swoop. Very cool. Aside from the naming mask being less automatic and intuitive like the prior version this is absolutely a must have and darn near "perfect" for what it is designed to do. Well worth the time to get and to learn to use. It beats the pants of the standard download manager.

If there's one addon you must have, this is it! I even like it better than adblock!

I've been using downthemall for a few years now. it's such a nice programme.
I usually leave my download on at night, but downloads finish a few hours later.
So I suggest that a sleep/shutdown is added to the programme when downloads are finished. I know the codes varies from OS to OS, but it should be simple enough...
Thanks!

Download and allow it do the job for you. May at first feel a bit complicated for the newbs but believe me - you are there.

Thank you very much. One minor bug only: You forgot to specify color for the From: and Size: fields in the progress popups. Since in my system I use white text on navy background, these 2 fields show blank. Otherwise excellent. My rating would be higher if you had decimals.

Great extension, Is there a way to open it in a tab, so I could use it in the background and the taskbar button isn't visible?

DTA is very useful. I found it downloading five times faster than the default FireFox download.
Hats-off to DTA. Kudos to Firefox. Cheers to OpenSource.!

This is the best extension I have seen for FF if you want an *embedded* DL manager. Downloads are MUCH faster and I use the OnceClick function all the time.
I use this extension instead of an extension that works with an external DL manager (eg. FlashGot) because it is easier to share my settings/firefox profile between Linux and Windows. I just have to make sure to change the DL location for the oneClick.

I have not seen a very good add-on like this. One wonderful feature for this is, it works even in proxy settings where most of the commercial DM\'s like DAP / Flash get are not working.\r\n\r\nTo improve probably if the author includes one more feature like import / export download URLs would be very good.

You just have to have this. No way you can live without this after you have experience how much faster it is even with high speed connection. This download that would have taken me 2 hours only took about 1 hour and 10. 50 mins means a lot to me when I'm downloading several big files at once while doing homework. It definitely saves on the electricity bill...somewhat xD
I love it! *hugs the developer(s)*
Uhm...*ahem* Thanks :D

This is by far one of the greatest download managers PERIOD. I have never had as much success with anything like this ever in my life. INCREDIBLE speed boosts, and time saving that you wouldn't believe. I will install this on my friends computers. Wonderful job!

Its a great add on! The only thing I would like to see changed is the ability to see the pictures in the pre-download manager so you can easily figure out what pictures you want! It would be sweet if you could just click on the file name and up would pop a picture!

works perfectly when downloading a list of mp3 audiobook-files, far more straightforward than FlashGot

its doing the job great, but i think there are 2 minor things needs to be added...
1.if a download broke,an option to try to resume in X minutes.(this way,if you were disconnected while sleeping, this thing does the job.
2.minimize to sys. tray, pressing close button became an instinct, add an option to minimize to tray at when pressing X or a new minimize to tray button....
