The favicon is old and looks ugly when searching from address bar – there is a white square all around the icon, including the "Tube" in the bottom. Just compare it with Google search icon.
I see it was last updated in 2009 and the dev might have left, though it would be nice to have an update.

Please make SSL the default for YouTube. The search suggestions are also slow comapred to Google Search suggestions.

love this but when trying to add in Firefox 29, Ubuntu 14.04 got this message, 'Sorry, you need a Mozilla-based browser (such as Firefox) to install a search plugin'.
