I have a modified version of Image Zoom 0.4 that works in SeaMonkey 2.0 and Thunderbird 3.0. Please visit http://xsidebar.mozdev.org/modifiedmisc.html#imagezoom and install Image Zoom 0.4-mod.

Please update for TB3. Version 4.0 doesn't work good. Some error in displaying parts of the Thunderbird – instead of the last folders with e-mails I can see something like "Chrome error…"

I disabled the compatibility-check with MR Tech Toolkit and the right-press-zoom and right-press-middle-click works.
only the context-menu isn't working, so still an update is needed.

I've been using Lookout satisfactorily in TB2. Now I'm using TB3 (RC1), but unfortunately it can't run in TB3 . . . an update, maybe? :-)

I have Firefox 3.5.5. After installing the plugin, just before restarting Firefox, I can see the plugin in the list with the mention that I need to restart Firefox. After doing so, the plugin does not appear in the plugin list, and no image zoom functionality is present, as if nothing had been installed. That's why I gave it the lowest evaluation.

Really slick and easy to use add on. The single command for zooming makes it a snap. As others have said, some pixelation does occur - but its more of a problem with the resolution quality of the image, than this tool.

works like a charm...ease of use is the key to success here.
only problem? it won't go back to 100% zoom with the mouse wheel. it goes between 95%, 99% and 104%.
you have to right click on the image, and tell it to "Zoom Reset". 4 out of 5 ain't bad though...

This is a must-have add-on. Easy to use.
What it won't do is correct for a low resolution picture. So there is a bit of pixilation which becomes noticeable fast in a very low res picture. But that is the fault of the source image, not Image-Zoom.

It is compatible, but Firefox 3.5.3 doesn't know it. If you have installed Image Zoom 1.2.6 before update of Firefox 3.5.3, it works!

If you want to see an image with more detail, this is your extension. There isn't often a very practical application for Image Zoom, but you never know when you'll want to see an image three times its normal size.

Image reset function with 'middle click' doesn't work in Fx 3.5.2. :(
