Leva 1/3 do tempo do adBlock com o mesmo resultado, leve, eficiente e usável. Não volto mais ao ABP

Fast and light, great alternative to ABP on slow/old machines.

Compared to ABP, it doesn't block facebook ads.
edited: @diego. Yeah, for me personally, ABP's performance isn't an issue and ABP allows me to do more blocking. Good software though.
It is not the purpose of Bluhell to block random in-page elements, you can use ABP without subscriptions and the Element Hiding Helper addon for that if you want.

ABSOLUTELY brilliant. Ths ad blocker is so much better than any I have seen. I have encountered no problems, and plus my pages load so much faster compared to AdBolck 2.4. I'll never go back

Hands down it's my favorite AdBlocker, it uses dramatically less RAM than the competitors.
The only thing in my wishlist for this add-on would be "Remove Placeholders". It shows an unpleasent blank space in YouTube where the main ad was.

I'm playing with Bluhell on Firefox Australis Nightly. I'm not fanatic about blocking ads, and mostly just want to clean up ad heavy web sites. In limited tests, Bluhell has been effective and is lighter weight than the alternatives. One quirk, though: Australis just crashed, and a crash report was submitted. Mozilla.org sent an email acknowledging the report. Clicking on a link in the email caused Bluhell to spawn a page that looks like the standard Firefox blocked page screen stating it had been blocked for potential security vulnerabilities. Mozilla.org? Really?
I think Bluhell's really needs a whitelist with sites like Mozilla already on it.

You're right, a url including "click" doesn't mean it's an ad server, but Bluhell isn't just an ad blocker. In fact, the extension started long ago as a privacy/tracking protection i used for my personal use, several months passed when i decided to include Easylist to block adverts.
The blocked page is just an improvement over the previous version, where when click.* domains were blocked a blank page was shown... obviously i got some complains from users so i changed it so that a click of a button would allow them to go to the page if they want to once warned.
Sure there will be more improvements, being a Whitelist at the top of the list. However, i'm afraid of implementing it since for that to work perfectly i'll need to keep track of every other sub/domain loaded by a website, which could slow down Bluhell considerably...
Btw, rather than submitting new reviews i think you can edit this one instead, if you want/need to...

The addon is lightweight and does a great job adblocking EXCEPT for the fact that it doesn't have a white list which frankly it makes it a pain in the ass sometimes. Some sites or features within sites don't work with adblockers and there are some sites that you just want to support. Enabling and disabling the addon all the time is not a practical solution. PLEASE fix this.

Here is my final review after 2 weeks of tests and questions.
BluHell Firewall is extremely lightweight, it blocks nearly everything, and noticeably accelerate page loadings (contrary to Adblock).
It works really well with Ghostery (I only allowed Widgets) which only processes the remaining ads not previously blocked by BluHell Firewall. So the slowdown is not noticeable (if present).
The improvements I wish are a wider range of blocking (to avoid using an extra extension) and some settings. But as it is it's already wonderful.
In early January 2013, I'll contribute ;)

Well intentioned, but there are some whitespace issues that need to be resolved, such as yahoo.com.

I really want to try this lightweight Adblock Plus alternative, but I have some issues with installing it on my Android device. All I have is an notification that the installation is not OK. My device is Google Nexus 4 with Android 4.4.1 on board, Fx 25.0.1 for Android. Additionally, I have no problems with installing other addons.
Update: Diego helped with this issue. You can install addon using desktop version of webpage.

I never realized how much Adblock Plus was slowing down page loading until I tried Bluhell Firewall, and now pages load noticeably faster and are still ad free!

Light and Powerful ! It seldom let one ad or two appear, so I use the add-on "Image Blocker" as a complement. Thank You very Much. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

This is pretty nice and lightweight. I only ask of one thing: the source code to generate the regexes from the ABP subscription lists. Thanks! :)

and went 2 weeks before I remembered I'd made the change. During that time I didn't even notice any ads. I figured I'd try this, maybe I'd have to compromise for faster load times, being skeptical as to how 7 rules could replace 7000, but it works! No compromise, full and complete ad-blocking.
All I can say is well done, Bluehell, 5 stars and bye bye Adblock after 6 years.
