Working now AOK. So many crashes with Fast Dial that Mozilla needed re-installing. Even thought of switching back to IE! And I never had a crash at all previously.
Thanks, Speed Dial!

Why Alt+(1-9) shortcuts are default? When I have to write email address somewhere, it's impossible. I found the reason for this "bug" after too many hours. It's bad usability.

Excellent add-on. Mr Del Rio did a great work and it works in Fx 3.5.1 perfectly.

And Del Rio, if you lived in Brazil, I would send you a shirt from Brazilian Soccer team as a gift.

Thanks a lot,

A.

Nice addon, works fine with 3.5.
Maybe "Viscount Vancouver" have some general problems...

Good plugin. I only give it 4 stars because there is one thing I dislike.
That one thing is that I cannot hide or delete unused windows. I only use 5 windows, and the rest are just an eyesore.
If someone knows how to do this, please let me know. Just reply here as I will be checking back every so often. Thanks.

I had previously rated this as 4 stars and listed a few problems I had encountered with clear not working for dials, etc.
After contacting the developer, at his invitation in a reply to my review, he asked a few questions and made some suggestions of things to try.
Over the course of a day of back-and-forth he narrowed to a probable conflict with a few other extensions I was running.
He hit it bang-on. It was not interacting correctly if I had the hyperwords addon set to anything but default behavior for its popup.
With that changed, this speed dial extension began working perfectly.
So five stars for dedication for a really, really great addon.

One of my favorite addons. I have tabs for fun, work, administration, web design etc.. I only wish that it was possible to hide unused dials.

Speed Dial Rocks! This is a stellar add on. This has grown to me my favorite add on. I also really like how we can have up to 99 speed dialed favorites. Speed dial makes users much more productive.

Thanks for your kind words. Actually, you can have any number of Speed Dials. You may refer to that number because you see 2 digits with the "multikey" feature, but if you had more than 99, it would show 3 digits. There's no limit.

I just LOVE this Add-on, but sometimes I have to use Safari.

My question is: Is there any way I could just export SpeedDial page as an HTML file and set is as a Homepage for Safari? That way if anytime I wanted to change something I could simply do it in Firefox and export it again over my html file and update Safari.

Thanks and congratulations.

Pretty nice but slightly clunky.
Wrestled with the weather dial for about half hour. It wanted to set automatically to a city about a half hour away. I wanted the city 4 miles away.
I could not find a way to change it.
Clear button also does not work for me on any dial.
Only way I've found to delete a dial is assign it to a new group using drag and drop and then delete that group.
Will also not let me change a dial to something else unless I have dragged the one there to some other position.
All in all very nice and I especially like that I can set it up how I want, not just have it auto-tune my most visited sites.

The "clear" option works for me... The errors you're having are quite estrange, and could be the result of a extension conflict. Unfortunately, I need to see this error in my environment in order to be able to solve it, so it would be great if you could send me your list of enabled extensions. I really love this add-on, and have been using it for months.

Sadly, with the release of FF3.5, this add-on isn't nearly as helpful as it once was. Because now when you close the final tab, all of FF closes, instead of showing me SpeedDial like before.

Strange that this would still be a "recommended" add-on when Mozilla took away half of its potency for me.

This is fixed in the new version, 0.9.1, along with a couple of minor issues in Firefox 3.5.

Ofcourse 5 stars. This is great add-on for Firefox. Generally new tab appears blank but with this add-on, you can make group of most visited websites appear in the new tab, not only this you can create more than 2 groups of your favorite websites appear in the new tab. I absolutely love this, it's made my browsing a lot easier.

cheers,
xhunter.

With the version 0.9.0.8 I can't open speed dial in the last tab when I close it.
But with the version 0.9.1 this bug was fixed. This version is not yet on addons.mozilla.org. You may download it here: http://speeddial.uworks.net/download.html

Great add on but ever since I installed 3.5 whenever I close all my tabs speed dial doesn't come out anymore. I used to could continuously close the speed dial tab and it will still be there. Now I have to open a new tab to get to it. Please make it so it's like before.

This add-on is brilliant and I use it everyday. Problem is since the 3.5 upgrade I can't get it to load on the blank tab after I close all the currently open tabs. Please please please fix this as this is the main way I access speed dial!!
