Great and useful add-on, only downside is that every time a page reloads (even in the background) your cursor loses focus, which makes e.g. editing Wikipedia a pain in the ass.
Still great, though

I love Speed Dial. It has made accessing my favorite sites so very quick and easy. I can add and change or remove webpages or sites in a few simple steps. I give it two thumbs up.

Great add-on, works fine, very useful.

Re:speed on opening new tabs, you can control all of this in the settings. Turn off 'load in blank new tab'.

Adding the icon to your toolbar is the easiest way to open a new speed dial tab IMHO.

Tried this for a while but it is too slow to be used. It takes about 9 seconds to open up a new tab for me now compared with 2 seconds for a new google page. The drop in new tab loading speed (which also taxes the rest of firefox so I'm not even able to type in the address box) outweighs and possible benefit. I would recommend looking at the google chrome source code and copying it tit-for-tat for this add on because theirs is better.

Serving it's purpose. Someone might want to include instructions on moving it the icon to the toolbar. I had to go hunt it down.

This is one of the BEST tools I've ever used. It is SOOOO EASY to put a site you visit often into Speed Dial, then, when you open a new tab, bingo! Your frequently visited sites are right there! i LOVE this tool

This is without a doubt one of the must have add-ons. Kudos to the developer. Latest update is very useful especially the ability to run apps. I wish Speed Dial had the ability to utilize relative paths for the apps as I run Firefox from my USB stick as well as a bunch of apps. Again to the developer "Great job"!

I also had a problem and had to uninstall it. For me, it was that Roboform toolbar would not expand and I could not use it to sign in. Speed Dial is a fantastic extension and I love it, but I paid for Roboform and I need to get my money's worth.

My sisters and I love this, we have been using this a few months know. The only problem is that on her computer as of yesterday when she starts up firefox it will freeze just when speed dial page loads on the only thing that will stop it from freezing is take speed dial out of add ons. Anyone else have this problem?

Absolutely brilliant. I saw this first in another browser to which I switched just because of it, but then I saw my roommate had an even better speed dial, with the number of pages on speed dial being a variable (the other browser only had 9 slots with no option to change this). I switched immediately back to Firefox and I'm not disappointed.

This plug-in should be built in Firefox!
That's how important it is!
Works flawless.

excellent add-on. the only problem i found is that if you switch thumbnail size from bigger to smaller and have categories, then all pages shift to previous categories. that's a bug you should fix. thanks!
