This is basically a working and updated replacement of the "old" Download Statusbar that was so popular. 5 stars, guys. Good work.

The only thing I'm missing is an option to auto-clear all downloads. Other than that, it's pretty much perfect. Great work and much respect!

You can open up Options window by right clicking on Downloads button and selecting Options menu. Then just add an * character into "Automatically clear these file types" field to auto-clear all filetypes.

simple und perfect - user-friendly because of strong possibilities for customising and fast user support. very good replacement for the old "download status bar" we all know. Nothing to complain! Keep it up!

Great Upgrade from the old download statusbar, but has some glitches. It downloads files fine to the desktop. But when you go to rename the file directly from right clicking the file from the statusbar, it kills the download on the desktop. Happens all the time.

It is not possible to Rename a download when it is progressing. Downloads needs to be finished. Can you send a screenshot for how do you Rename downloads?

This addon is absolutely awesome, already better from the old iteration by the different developer.
The only thing that is missing in my eyes is an ability to change color of "Downloads" and "Clear" buttons on the status bar for default grey looks kinda dull.

I loved the previous version of this Add-on because it had an option to continue downloads after closing FF. I notice that option is no longer available. I like the features of this version but really miss that option. Any chance of bringing it back?

TRS-80, this type of configuration is done in the browser, not the extension. Simply open the browser options, then go to the "General" tab, the option you are looking for is there.

This add-in is now excellent, though on a personal level a single command not only to clear the bar but to delete all the files on the bar would be welcome.

Congrats to Szalgiris! You really picked up the ball and ran with it after CJ (author of Download Statusbar 0.9.10) had a major fail last year. I'd preferred his version over yours previously, but you really polished up Download Status Bar 3.8. It's now nicer, better and cleaner than the other one ever was. Thanks for a great new and indispensable extension for my permanent Firefox collection! 6 stars.

Szalgiris thanks for your hard work to constantly improve this great add-on.I don't know if it's technically possible, but can you please add an option to clear the downloads from the firefox 'Downloads' window, the same time we clear the downloads from your addon?
