very confused? installed the update for browser and now my fireftp is no longer compatible...screwed up my evening...should i go back to microsoft?

FireFTP has worked great for me since I started using it several years ago! The great thing is that it's cross-platform and has all of the information I need to see and manage on my web site! I manage several websites with it that require weekly or more frequent updates.

FireFTP macht sofort einen guten Eindruck: Es funktioniert sofort, hat einen klaren Aufbau, ist intuitiv zu nutzen und unterstützt FTPS gut (damit haben viele FTP-Programme ein Problem).

Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es, da SFTP auf Linux(!) nur mit Putty funktioniert, dabei gehört SFTP/SSH zum Standard auf Linux-Distros. Eine Putty-Installation zu fordern, das geht daher gar nicht!

WARNING: Never let FireFTP store your password.

I was recently infected with malware when visiting a website, most of it was caught with Avast etc, but it managed to use FireFTP to inject a piece of javascript into every index.php/html of my site which displayed an ad at the bottom.

Other than that it does the usual FTP features.

Great feature.
But i have some problems with encoding. If some files or folders named on russian, then I see not readable text

It was a great Add-On whilst it worked.

But it's causing Firefox 3.6 to not launch on an Intel Mac OSX 10.6 so I've had to bid it farewell.

This add-on is just excellent! easy to set up, easier to use. Very handy when maintaining and uploading stuff for my websites. Having a utility like this within a browser is brilliant, thanks! Now, how about making it available for Seamonkey?

FireFTP is excellent piece of work. Its a piece of mind. Never crashed. Worked with it for very long time now. Its simple and accurate. M Lovin it..

I have used this addon for several years now and can say it has been excellent for me. I develope several blogsites of my own as well as a couple of websites. This has been a real asset for me. a few minor bugs from earlier versions, But none so far with this version.

It would be a nice add-on, but it does not support transferring files larger than 4 GBytes (4096 kBytes).
