I've upped my rating to the typical value for the add-on as my previous remarks were solely based on the Windows OS.

I apologise to the developer for this and also to non Windows users who I may have confused with my previous review.

I'm giving this a 3 star for the effort the user has put into this but this add-on is not required as you can do the same thing with the program icon.

Right click the icon, look for the box that has Run before it and change the drop box to "Minimised" or whatever the text is in your native language, probably the second option down. Then click Apply then OK (or you can just hit OK) and confirm you wish to proceed if you get a UAC/administrator popup. Depending on where you have saved the icon will determine if you get the popup message.

I think you are only talking about Windows, this add-on works on all OS. But thanks for the idea.
