Mailbox Alert

Wurdearring: 5 fan de 5 stjerren

Awesome... "execute a command" is exactly what Thunderbird was missing! This is the perfect fix for getting Growl to work with Thunderbird on OS X Lion as well... see this post:
http://gluap.wordpress.com/2011/11/10/growl-1-3-and-thunderbird/

SUGGESTIONS:
(1) The default sound and message should be ENABLED by default immediately after install. If I just installed a new extension and activated it, I expect it to work right away, and not have to go hunting to try and figure out how to turn it on and make it work. At first I thought the extension was broken because it did not do anything (and there was no Preferences button: see #2 below).
(2) You should add a Preferences button on the Extension Add-On Manager page so it's easier to find the settings when you first install it... took me a little bit to figure out how to set it up. I at first assumed there were no Settings to change because it did not have a Preferences button (and thought that it did not work, which goes back to suggestion #1 above).

Unified Search

Much better than the TB 3.1 implementation
Bascally it puts the Quick Filter bar functionality up on the Mail Toolbar so it is always accessible without having to open it up or without it taking up more vertical screen space.

Enigmail

Great add-on!

@Nima ... this is for Thunderbird version 3.1+ and won't work with 3.0.5

Lightning

YES you can get Lightning for TB3 and you should not lose any calendar information. I upgraded to TB3, and I did notice the big WARNING that says Lightning Plug-In is not compatible with TB3, so I backed up my calendar data before I did the upgrade (File-> Export-> iCalendar *.ics). I then downloaded the Lightning.xpi from the link below and installed and all my data was back (without having to import the backup).

DOWNLOAD IT HERE:

Send Later (old)

Works great for me with TB 2.0.0.14.

It saves your message as a Draft, and then you tell it when you want it to by sent, and away it goes right on time!!!
