Just another heartfelt plea for at least some the developer's radio silence to be broken, in the hope that they read their revews, as they seem uncontactable. I can see some people are migrating to Cardbook and TBSync, but I will only follow when all hope is lost, as Cardbook doesn't do lists/labels, and TBSync looks like it overlaps with Google Calendar provider functionality, and I'm scared to wreck a working setup just to get syncing back on my address book. All I want is to know if gcontactsync might come back one day, or definitely won't. Surely that only takes a minute?

I'm sure everyone wants an update to Thunderbird 78, and I appreciate that it would take time and work, and that it's not the developer's fault. In the meantime, it would be helpful to us all while we work around the problem, if we had a rough estimate on if and when that might happen. Perhaps an update on the addon's home page?
