Mozilla Archive Format, with MHT and Faithful Save

Unlike some other mhtml projects this one fits seamlessly into the save dialogue. It can save in many formats which is a plus (though I stick to mhtml for the sake of chrome compatibility). It even marks the original address and date of saving withing the saved file which another feature that other mht addons did not do. Even chrome doesn't do that.

This is used to be one of the best extensions for firefox but Todd Long messed it up pretty badly with the upgrade to 0.6 and lost all interest in the project with a half ***ed release floating around. Now 0.6 doesn't even login to gmail anymore. If you are a loyal old user of gMail Manager but are unsatisfied with what it's become, don't give it 4 stars out of mere loyalty because you don't want to bring the guys ratings down... The rating should truly reflect what this extension has become.

Seriously, for the last two years, people have been begging you to fix the 0.6+ versions of gmail manager (which you released only half functional) and now we can't even use 0.5.7.5 b/c something has changed in Google's login protocol and only 0.6 seems to login in now... If you're not interested in this project or don't have time anymore, please make it open source and let someone else take over!!!

I know alot of you out there don't like 0.6. You don't need to be stuck with it. There is a very easy way to install version 0.5.7.5 of the extension in the newest version of firefox (3.6.*). I have posted the more details and instructions in the Mozilla Add-on forum at:

Gmail Manager

I very much appreciate the work they've done over the years. It's a great extension but the latest version has changed the way you preview your inbox. You can't pass your mouse over the gmail manager icon anymore to see what's in your inbox. You have to right click and select see snippets. It's very frustrating!! I used to be able to scan my inbox for any messages of relevance within seconds up to this version. Now it's alot more akward as their snippets force me to look at each message one by one. I've down graded to 0.5.7.5 and will not upgrade anymore till this very vital issue is fixed.
