https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=277731 was fixed.

There remain issues such as
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=445305
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=553158
and I wondered whether this add-on might offer an superior approach in those environments but I guess that the add-on will not be developed for modern versions of Sunbird or Lightning.

0.10.100228 refers to http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/calendar/lightning/nightly/latest-comm-1.9.1/macosx-xpi/ which does not exist.

First thought: a more useful approach might be a one-off export from Firefox, to a keychain. FWIW I would not expect Mac OS Keychain 1.x to include export features.

An assumption: users who prefer integration with keychains may also prefer Sync Services, truth database etc. (in lieu of Mozilla Weave and the like).

A minor point: a better name for the add-on might be:

  Password integrator for Keychain Services
