This is a bugfix update.
  • Fixes RFC 4266 compatibility (if you were using an earlier version of 3.1, please update to this one).
  • Warns users on Nightly and Developer Edition to use a non-E10S window. Electrolysis support is coming with OverbiteFF 4.0.
  • Fixes double requester problem with Firefox 38+ and prompter windows.
  • Fixes broken inline view with Firefox 44+.
  • CAPS file keys are now correctly spelled (but the old keys are still accepted).
  • Dotless mode is now much less eager. At most one dot set with or without newline will be stripped if found.
This version drops compatibility with Firefox 3.6 through 37 and equivalent versions of Firefox ESR, SeaMonkey and TenFourFox. 38.0 is now the minimum supported version. If you must use an earlier version of Firefox, SeaMonkey or TenFourFox, you must use 3.0.

... plus all the great features of 2.0, including inline view, proxy support and full browser and bookmark integration. SeaMonkey users, support for the 2.1 beta is in progress.

Support note: version 2.x.x will be the last version series to support Firefox 3.0 and Firefox 3.5 (and SeaMonkey 2.0). Version 3.0 will require Firefox 3.6, Firefox 4 or SeaMonkey 2.1.
