The correct translation for "add-ons" in es-ES is "complementos", not "agregados". This mistake has been in the update notifier since many versions ago. Please, correct it. Thanks

You can make it to work with TB3. You just need to unzip it (XPI is ZIP file), edit file install.rdf, find 3.0b2 and modify it with 3.1 , save file, compress all files to ZIP again, rename extension from ZIP to XPI and it's done - you can install and run it with TB3

I take back my original review. I apologize. Update Notifier works perfectly in Thunderbird 3. I just wish it wouldn't nag me to install extension updates every 24 hours. There is no way to turn off the nags.

If you want to get rid of annoying extension update notify popups/windows, this extension is for you. If you set it right, it'll automatically update your extensions by not showing any annoying popups/windows. A must have add-on !

Note that; it still not support ff v3.6, please update it. :flowers:

Fantastic add-on for anyone that uses add-ons! With this baby, you'll never be annoyed by update notifications again. Everything is always seamlessly up-to-date without the nag, the way it should be!

Someone did say already FF does it's own add-on checking, but note FF doesn't really display an indicator after you missed its initial popup (though it does show a dialog to install updates on FF run later). This extension was nice to have but it not being updated for FF betas -- which I feel is the most important time you need it because you want to find when incompatible extensions are updated ASAP -- makes it obsolete and useless now.

I've had this problem for a while now. When I try to restart FF through the add-on it just refuses to do so and freezes. I've had it since FF 3.5 I think. Otherwise, an excellent add-on.

Lots of features in this little notifier, and no problems in sight. The ability to control how often updates are checked for is pretty nifty, being able to restart Firefox with the icon is even cooler, and automatic installation of updates just takes the cake.

This is a great add-on that I always used for Thunderbird. However, I have switched to using Thunderbird 3.03b and can no longer use it. Please let us know when an updated version will be available.
