To change the weather location edit the dial and change "weather:" to "weather:" or "weather:", where is your US zip code (if you live there) and is the city where you live; if that doesn't work, try "city, country". Thanks, only unfortunately I and have not understood where to write up to the end zip code.
There can be I and will not approach, because I not from America, and from Russia.
In general look, here page from a weather site with my city

That there and where it is necessary to enter, that weather as it was beautifully displayed as well as by default for Moscow.

This is super!!! I love being able to use this for all my "daily" places and bookmarks for places I will just visit once or twice. I like being able to customize the page sizes, too.

Sad to say, I have uninstalled this add-on that I have been using since it came out. The developers MUST have the ability for the user to backup their speed dial list! My Firefox just updated over the weekend, and I lost all 8 pages of my Speed Dials, and I am sick and tired of it. Going back to bookmarks until this is resolved, if it ever will be.

I'm sorry that you felt that you lost all your information, but actually Speed Dial makes automatic backups of your information; plus, it's entirely possible to import/export your information. Both functions are available from the settings panel, clicking the "Settings" button at the lower left side. Feel free to contact me directly if you've any further questions.

Donate? Really? This app has been stuck at v0.9 for how many years now? It's a fantastic idea and I used it as long as I could but the shortcomings have forced me away.

I think the page could be more personalized. Could contain links and maybe a bar to search in google. It could also have shortcuts to programs and folders, plus a driver mp3, like the FoxyTunes. It would be perfect.

Update: Works well with ff 3.0 portable lol (Meaning 5 stars)
Come on guys, please find out why it firefox portable 3.5+ and 3.6beta+ do not support this plugin after moving directory. Thanks

I love this SOOOOOOOO much. I use it just like my bookmarks. I have it so it opens in a new tab, and in new windows. Makes things soo much easier.

What can i say besides i removed it yesterday. The extension is good, great possibilities and options, but as a web developer, it totally kills my firefox performances.
If it had no impact on the perfs, i would still have it on my firefox

Speed Dial is one of the best features on Opera's web browser and now it has been adapted into Firefox. While Opera being the people that invented Speed Dial and tabbed browsing and pretty much everything you will see in the future Opera has done already BUT Opera's biggest flaw is also a strength. They don't do extensions or add ons like Firefox which does. This makes Opera more stable but it also makes their browser kinda dull. Snag this as you will find it handy but it is no where near as awesome as Opera's speed dial especially the customizable speed dial in Opera 10.

Firefox's Speed Dial has a lot more style customization options than its Opera counterpart. Try editing the group, and clicking "Additional style options".

It's incredibly easy to sync any addon's settings using FEBE or OPIE, so it doesn't really make much sense for SpeedDial's devs to waste their time adding a feature that can be accomplished already.

There is only one thing in Speed Dial which can make me more happy. It is an opportunity to synchronize speed dial between computers (like xMarks or SyncPlaces do).
I created a special bookmark folder to store bookmarks numbered as in Speed Dial. So I can sync bookmarks, but I have to make changes to Speed Dial manually.

Could you please think about it. That feature will helps me a lot (hope not only me).

Very nice add-on, but I have several wishes:

1. From what I tried, the tab home page cannot be customized. The background is completely white and cannot be changed. Fast Dial has an option to use a picture in the background or themes.

2. Please add a way to customize the sizes of the thumbnails. The option in the preferences does not seem to change the thumbnail size or distance from each other.

So basically just some customizable features are lacking so I was wishing some options could be more personalized. Otherwise very nice add-on; keep it up! :D
