Negara - you can export and import your speed dial settings. Look at Speedial Options | Settings.

Fantastic add-on. Does exactly what it aims at, and does it well. Doesn't push its own ideas on the user, like fastdial did with the moronic userlogos integration.

it would be nice if there where a backup/restore option, because I use more than 100 positions and it's annoying to set them up each time I reinstall ff (because of different crashes, including virus infections...:( )

As another user pointed out, if you go to the Speed Dial settings panel, there's a button in the lower left side named "Settings", which allows you to import/export settings.

Speed Dail will now drag and drop thumbnails. That was JUST what was needed!

I use this FireFox add-in more than any other. I put newspapers and TV news channels in each window so I can have a broad spread to read/view my morning news from.

Fantastic.

había informado erroneamente sobre un problema que no tenia nada que ver con este agregado. por lo que corrijo mi observación.

Es un excelente complemento, ideal para personas que como yo, suelen visitar un mismo grupo de páginas con mucha frecuencia.

Speed Dial will NOT change your home page to anything else except if you order it do so the first time you install it, and it will change to "chrome://speeddial/content/speeddial.xul", which is an internal address to show Speed Dial. My extension doesn't contain spam links of any kind, so you either downloaded a fake version, or this problem is caused by some other element in your system.

Absolutely great add on! I use in all new tabs and is my current homepage. Would be 5 star if it could see flash.

version 7.2.6 and earlier worked amazingly well. I didn't realize how much I used the feature in opera. I'd set it as my home page and as the content of all new tabs, before 0.7.2.11 rolled out..I've disabled it for now. I'll either uninstall and go back a version, or just leave it off altogether till a newer option comes out

it seems that some users are still having problems with the latest version. I suggest that you download the latest development version from http://speeddial.uworks.net/download.html , as it seems to fix those issues.

Everything is working great.

For those who wish they could load Speed Dial in the current tab, all you have to do is create a shortcut on your bookmark bar and click that. For some reason, you can't drag the icon from the address bar (which appears to be blank), but you can drag from the tab into the bookmark bar. Or just manually create a bookmark bar entry using the link (chrome://speeddial/content/speeddial.xul).

I suppose it would be nice if there was official support for this, because I agree, its annoying to open in a new tab. But the bookmark bar method works great, and its an easy work around.

For some reason, since I updated to the latest SpeedDial, I've been having tab trouble. My tabs keep duplicating when I single click on them. It doesn't happen all the time, but it's annoying when it does. It's especially irritating when I am trying to close a tab, but instead, it duplicates when I click the close button.... I have since disabled SpeedDial, and the problem has gone away. But I do want to continue using the addon. So please update again and try to fix the problem.

Love Speed Dial, but the recent attempts to add the weather update have never worked for me...like other folks, would like to be able to press Speed Dial and have it open in the current tab.

I\'ll be adding this feature in version 0.8 . For the time being, try loading chrome://speeddial/content/speeddial.xul from your home page or a bookmark, and it won\'t open a new tab.

Very functional. Would like to see options for having transparent backgrounds in each dial, and also the option to remove borders and titlebars. Because i have pictures of buttons as background images in each dial and it would look much more nice without the borders. Four stars until that's taken care of ;)

much better than Fast Dial, set it as Home Page. The group feature is very useful, categorizing all the links.

Switched to Speed Dial after removing Fast Dial completely (I don't like spyware). This addon looks and works quite nice and professional. I like it.

It's nice much better than FastDial now... But, the text of the image snaphots is still blurred, in spite the images are good.
