Color Folders

Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5 n yetran

Thunderbird/Earlybird 54 seem to WIPE OUT color settings!

But I LOVE this as much as I love Colorful Tabs for Firefox!

Menu Wizard

Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5 n yetran

I don't know how this can be improved.
Certainly on of the best, most useful and produtive extensions available!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.04).

Copy Sent to Current

With all my folders, especially for personal contacts, I would find it very difficult to do WITHOUT this extension!

However, another extension would be EQUALLY helpful:

When pointed at (or when "in") a folder, "Write" would fill the "To" automatically, based on the Message Filter pointing to the folder!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.2).  Aseqdac-agi ɣur-s iceggiren nniḍen n uzegriz-agi.

Folder Filters Button

Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5 n yetran

This is a BIG timesaver for me - VERY glad to see it working again in Tbird 42.0

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3).

Message Filters Button

Yettwasezmel 4 ɣef 5 n yetran

BUT - it's incompatible with Thunderbird 40
Four stars for what it WOULD do for me could I install it! :-)
Now, if charging a fee or even accepting a voluntary 'fee' would help - why not do it??

Prevent Delete

Yettwasezmel 3 ɣef 5 n yetran

Using Thunderbird 38.0 under OS X 10.10.3 Yosemite the add-on does not permit setting any tag to PREVENT deletion. It also appears it does not work with ANY tag BUT "Important"

mms Auto Correct

Yettwasezmel 2 ɣef 5 n yetran

Since this is only a LIST replacement, it isn't a true autocorrect.
I'm using this with TB 31.6 on an iMac running Yosemite, and it won't let me UPDATE the correction list. All the buttons remain greyed-out.

I suspect a full autocorrect function such as found ON the Mac for Mail and Safari could not be written as an XPI file.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.3).

Character Palette

Yettwasezmel 2 ɣef 5 n yetran

I would like to support this, but I don't see how to input the characters for a custom palette. I need the degrees symbol, for example, and see it in NONE of the existing palettes. And I would like to be able to DELETE some of the supplied palettes with the option to RESTORE the defaults.

It would HELP if the palettes were NAMED (add a column to the selection drop-down). For example "Symbols"

TitleCase For Thunderbird

Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5 n yetran

Some of the best features are among the simplest. I may not use this frequently, but when I need it, I KNOW it will be GREAT!

THANKS MUCH!

Timeline

Yettwasezmel 3 ɣef 5 n yetran

I love timeline, but on version 0.4 for my Pacific Standard Time location, the appointments are eight hours late now. So, it's GMT????

However, at least it WORKS now for Tbird 7.0!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4).  Aseqdac-agi ɣur-s 2 iceggiren yezrin n uzegriz-agi.

Timeline

Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5 n yetran

This is my FAVORITE extension for Thunderbird.
It is SO useful as an immediate reminder for my day!

I don't use tasks and only assign time with appointments I can so easily forget.
Once you've used Timeline, it's indispensable!

It WOULD be even better if the bands were colored using the category color assignments in Lightning.

Do you take DONATIONS for support?
THIS is -one- extension I'd be happy to donate to!

Great and ESSENTIAL extension!

Toolbar Buttons

Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5 n yetran

The ONE button I was looking for isn't even in your CUSTOM buttons link namely, New Event!!

But I think this is a great extension, anyway.

Add that and I think it will be perfect!

Copy Sent to Current

Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5 n yetran

My latest problem is not with the extension, but I think an option ADDED TO the extension could SOLVE my problem.

The problem: Gmail's IMAP server does not reveal the LIST of recipients when you are sending to "undisclosed recipients" (that is, when you make every member of the list you are sending to a BCC).

I don't believe sending to myself AND to a list of BCC recipients will solve this.

In order to SEE my list afterward, I would need to change my Account settings before sending such an email and then change them again in order to SELECT the destination.

Is the SOURCE to this extension available???

O.K. if you're still struggling without Copy Sent to Current on Thunderbird 3.1, click on the link on this page "Visit the support site", find and download 0.9.5.3 & you should be O.K.

I was very dependent upon this extension and am in the same boat Hugh is - incompatible with Tbird 3.1!!!

Of course I'm ALSO on 64 bit Ubuntu 10.4!

Lightning

Yettwasezmel 1 ɣef 5 n yetran

It would help greatly if there were a link to updates as to when a Lightning version compatible with the latest stable release of 64 bit Thunderbird would be available. But since Lightning breaks with every new 64 bit Thunderbird, there is no way I can continue to rely upon it. I've gone to the Google calendar, instead.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0b2).

Lightning

Yettwasezmel 1 ɣef 5 n yetran

STILL doesn't work with 64 bit Ubuntu 10.4 ... message:

"Not compatible with Thunderbird 3.1"

Can't rate this highly if it breaks with every Thunderbird release.

Google calendar STILL works...

I'd PREFER Lightning IF I could USE it!!!!

Still not compatible with Thunderbird 3.1 64 bit!!

Lightning would get 5 stars but for this,
