One of the most useful GMail programs ever....too bad it is currently broken. When it works it is 10 STARS!!!! Hard to give it more than a star when it is not working.

Mr Long thank you for the update ........ all your hard work ......... it works with Google App email but does not work with gmail i think you need to test it again and i have also heard that very soon they will upgrade Google apps email also so you will have to make this work so as to apply the same solution to Google apps email soon

Auto log-in doesn't work after updating to the lastest version :( Have to retype my password everytime to log in after I click on the gmail icon on my taskbar~~ Sad :(

Even on another system that never had gmail manager. Going to compose mail succesfully logs me into gmail to compose a new mail.
But it will simply not login by itself.

Installed the update from the developers site but it's still not working for me. It just won't login. Can't use the Mook Fix either because my FF freezes when I install it. :(

Yes!! I was truly mourning the loss of Gmail Manager (the BEST FF add-on, imho), and just dl'd v0.6.2 from Mr. Long's site. Thank you sincerely, good Sir!! =)

It works best if you uninstall whichever version of gmail manager you are using, allow FF to restart, then re-install fresh. I downloaded from his longfocus website to make sure nothing was screwy. Let me assure you it does work. Thanks very much to Todd for doing this crucial update that had me held captive by gmail for a few weeks.

The author has updated this add on to work. Was updated on the 14th Jan. Just check his support website (it's not showing it Mozillas site yet). v0.6.2 works just like before. Thanks for supporting this add-on!

it was a rocking addon, but google's change made it not working.
Mook fix doesn't work for me... I use portable firefox, after mook fix, firefox just FREEZE at the start of firefox. I had to manually delete the gmail manager addon folder.

The Mook Fix works fine with my 2 Gmail accounts
I followed all the steps for each account.
After the first reboot of FF only the fixed account worked.
After the second fix run and FF reboot both accounts worked fine.

Had this add on for quite some time. Was very helpful. Now it quit working and no support or news from developer. Left people in the dark. I would've stuck with it if there had been some indication that a fix was being worked on. Yes there is a fix that works for some people. I however am someone who does not want to fool around with having to do that. I am not a developer or programmer. I am an end user. I appreciate what these people do to make things nicer and easier for people like me.I switched to Gmail Checker am very happy with that add on. A simpler app that works well. It even has a couple of features I like better than Gmail Manager. I used Gmail Checker for a couple of days and then decided to write a review because I was happy with how it worked.

Guys, try a different attitude toward this issue..Anyone wondered that the guy might be "out of business" for some nasty reason? Not to be able to respond in any way on any page? Let us be reasonable...I'm using this add-on for quite a long time...it's a great tool...and yes, the greatness of it it's acknowledge always when stops working something...just let be patient...or look for something similar instead.

When Gmail Manager worked, it was a godsend. It checked numerous accounts without necessitating repeated logins. I'm not referring to the last couple of versions, they didn't actually improve much but earlier versions. What a convenient add-on.
I echo ML's sentiments about the developer abandoning this addon yet continuing to ask for donations. Try Gmail Checker instead, it works.

While this used to be a great add-on, it's irresponsible of the developer to abandon it without any notification to its users, while still asking for contributions. It's also disappointing that Mr. Long wouldn't release the code for the add-on so that other developers could take over work on it. He did a great job building it, and it's a shame to see it end with him instead of live on in the community.
