Good features, but very frustrating to use on the long run.
The module keeps being deactivated for a few weeks every time a new version of Firefox is released, and some persistent bugs seem to be installed there forever...

I got this add-on to work perfectly with the new Firefox 3.6 using the "Add-on Compatibility Reporter" add-on located at: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/15003

After you install the compatibility add-on, you have to restart Firefox twice.

The plugin works with Firefox 3.6 BUT, when you hover over the plugin's icon on the bottom right the mail snippits do not show up like they used to. This worked fine for v3.6 RC1, but as of RC2, and 3.6 final it is not working. Can this PLEASE be updated!! Many people use this on a daily basis. Thank you!

This works fine. No problems with Win7 and the 3.5.7 version of Firefox.

This plus-in is great.But i have got a problem recently that Gmail manager could not remmember my account password. Every time i open the browser, i have to enter the password. i don't know what wrong it is.

Yesterday I installed it and was perfect, popups on new mails and more.
This morning after restart of my pc there were suddenly four icons instead of one, 4 M icons in different colours and one with a "!" , in order M!MM (same problem with Andreas 12 november). Hovering mouse over either of the icons gives an small empty popup. In the gmail manager settings my account is deleted, but password still present in the password manager.

@livingd_ead, passwords are saved in the password manager under longfocus.gmanager.account, so seems to be safe

Very good application,with one little problem.You stay logged in into the last account you checked mail,even if you chose "log out all accounts".On a mostly private used pc not necessarily a drama,but on a public or a friends pc not really safe.

Just donated :) Gmail Manager simply is the best, have tried most if not all other notifiers/checkers.
Hope you'll keep it up to the never ending FF new versions (e.g >3.5 ;)

I hope development on 0.6.x resumes. I am not a 0.5 fan by comparison.

I might be upgrading to webmail notifier soon

Will 0.6.x work resume? I preferred multiple identities to have multiple status bar icons!

Excellent add-on. I use thunderbird on my PC and Gmail Manager on my laptops. This is perhaps the most useful add-on yet for email. Might have to make a contribution on this one. now if they could include yahoo, aol, and windows live accounts that would be the ultimate.
