Have loved this addon and it's one of the reasons I've not yet upgraded to FF 4.0. However, now the radar has stopped working on this install.
ETA on a v.4x compatible version?

Please maintain this addon. It's still the best one, the best icons, it's fully customizable (a definitive MUST!), lots of options, the satellite map is absolutely handy. I still do not use Firefox 4.0 and one of the motives is - waitng for compatibility. Highly reccomended.

Not sure if this will ever get update for Firefox 4. I found another addon that doesn't pretty much everything this one did.

Why only 4 days forecast and not 9 as in Enhanced version?

I love this extension, it is very customizable, and I love being able to see an animated radar when I hover over the radar link.
I work in a secured section of our building, there are no windows, so this extension is my link to the outside!We really need it to work on the new Firefox 4 'Add-on Bar'! I am going through weather withdrawal.
UPDATE:
I started using Forcastfox on Google Chrome, I must say that it is definitely Forcastbar Enhanced's poor cousin, I would like to either see Forecastfox on Google Chrome be brought up the level of Forecastbar Enhanced, or update Forecastbar Enhanced for FF4.

As everyone else has posted, I also love this addon more than any other weather application, but unfourtunately it just simply doesn't work in FF 4.x, I've even tried to edit the install rdf file to replace the minimal version required but didn't work. Does anyone with some knowledge know what's required to make it work? What I don't like about the current oficial forecastfox is that it has far fewer custom settings, the main one is that I cannot customize the radar map source and I'm forced to use the one provided by accuweather, which does not meet my expectations at all! TIA.

I love it but sure would like to have continued development and FF 4 compatibility. It is a must have on all of my FF installs. I love it! Please add FF 4 compatibility!!!!!

This morning I had the same problem with Forecast bar as Pinky describes in his comment of 14 February ... however, things are back to normal now.
As to that new wretched “Forecastfox Weather 2.0.2”, there is absolutely no comparing it with Forecastbar Enhanced: the “2.0.2” is simply _atrocious_ ... ... ... it does not have even a fraction of the myriad of customization options which the Forecastbar offers. Indeed, I cannot fathom why would the capable Forecastbar developers even think of suggesting the users of Firefox to download that “2.0.2” crap, much less of actually going over...

I rated this 5 stars because I've been using it for years on all my computers, and it worked great. Until today, that is. It just quit on me. I have no radar, and my local conditions just read "0 F" on my taskbar.
It is the same on 2 different computers, one running XP, the other running Ubuntu Linux- so the issue is *not* on my end. I hope I don't have to go back to using ForecastFox. Been there, done that, didn't like it. Very poor add-on compared to ForecastBar.
If anybody has a fix for this please post it, otherwise I will be saying goodbye to the only weather add-on I ever really liked.

LOVE this addon! I used to use forecastfox until it was dumbed down. Thankfully this works like a charm with FF 3.6.13. Please bring back support for this!

Everything about this addon is great, except for one thing...the pop-up alerts after it updates the current weather or the like. There needs to be a way to disable these without disabling the addon, as I like to leave the browser open while I'm doing other stuff, like watching a TV show or movie full screen or playing a game full screen. These interrupt the full screen application and push it to the background which is highly annoying. Please fix this, thanks. :)

forcast fox is still good. roughly the same thing. I prefer this but if it gets dropped then I'll use the other one since it's similar

Don't Fret Guys! Forecast fox just got all the updates it needs! It now runs perfectly it has a lovely new interface and it has all the old feature including the fact that the map is huge!
