Please update the addon. The addon corrupt the colors of Default and Dark theme in TB 68.0. With Light theme there is not any problem in colors.

Works fine EXCEPT when editing the Mailbox Alert List, if the list gets longer than the screen height there's no scroll and resize doesn't work. The OK button scrolls off the bottom and the list can't be edited anymore.

How do I get sound alert on "New email" (not just reply)?
I wanted to "play a sound" on "send email" and it works when I "reply" to an email but if I compose and send, the sound does not play.
- use "Outbox" folder alert
- "Sent" and "Drafts" does not work
- Windows 7 TB 60.5.

I like it, but it doesn't give as much flexibility as Tonequilla.. Also getting other sounds to work other than default sound has be problematic. Actually, it doesn't work. Option if grayed out.
Please look at choices available on filter on Tonequilla. Must better. I like the notification flag that pops up. Please add the options Tonequilla has. Tonequilla isn't supported anymore and I liked it a lot. Please help!

Fantastic add-on! It does exactly what I wanted. I simply added a filter to send desired emails to a given folder, made a custom .wav sound for that folder, and now get notified when new mail comes in from that user.

The best add-on for Thunderbird! All is working well except one thing: Specific folder alert does not work if you are entered in that folder. So you need to be outside that folder alert to trigger.

Doesn't work (Thunderbird 52.8.0 32-bit) and the fact that there're no instructions whatsoever how to configure it doesn't help either.
Do not download it, it's a waste of time.

Actually it partially works: it will run an arbitrary comment if I configure it that way. But it does not show a bubble message when it is configured to do so.

Thunderbird did a dirty trick when my profile was damaged and auto updated itself. Now I find most of my addons don't work, and this is one of them. I've used it for about 7 years or so and found it very useful. The ability to have custom alerts for different accounts and folders (useful when using server side filters) and the ability to silence the alert for routine mail such as newsletters etc was invaluable. I hope it can be updated or a replacement arrives soon.
The star review is simply because it doesn't work (can't give it full marks when it doesn't work!), otherwise, it would get full marks.

This app is good for monitoring when your folders get new messages. After all, you don't want to have to scan all your folders to see if you have a new message.
However, if you get lots of email, like when you start up Thunderbird, you might get a dozen notices. The first 11 disappear in less than a second, so those messages are as good as lost.
It would be a lot better if a list of folders were displayed, and you could click to dismiss certain notifications or click to jump to that folder. The key is to be notified of all the new messages in the folders I choose.
