I've used QuickFolders for a couple of years now with no problems at all, and I love how they keep working on it (unlike so many extensions that get abandoned and die). I have hundreds of folders and QF helps me find the most important ones quickly. I particularly like the ability to drag a message to the QF tab to archive it quickly, and the fact that QF tabs drop down to reveal folders lower in the hierarchy.

Awesome! Finally I can use more than one account without getting lost. Using this addon with 10 different email accounts and it's brilliant. Makes my work so much more effective.

QuickFolders compliments Thunderbird very well, is well integrated, and I have found it very helpful. Axel Grude, the developer, has proven to be very sincere and helpful as well.

This is a fantastic add-on, but now the folders are lost whenever I restart Thunderbird. I'm using TB 3.1.15 with QuickFolders 2.9

The bug only affects TB 3.0 and older - remember, the current release version of Thunderbird is 7.0.1

I have used this for quite some time. Just updated to Quick Folder 2.9 and I think I have a problem. The bookmarks that I set up do not stay after a restart. Each time I have to drag them up to the Quick folders bar to re-establish them. They work OK once there, but disappear after the next shutdown/restart of Thunderbird.
I am using Thunderbird 3.1.15 in Linux Mint. Are there any other Add-ons that break your add-on?

Remember, the current version of Thunderbird is 7. Simply install QuickFolders 2.9.1 :)

Every time I open thunderbird now I get the following message: "QuickFolders was successfully upgraded to version:2.8"
and it open a mozdev.org web page. Any way to stop it from doing this?
You found [bug 24389] which affects only a few users.
Please go to http://downloads.mozdev.org/quickfolders/ and then download the patched version QuickFolders-tb-pb-sm-2.8.3pre16.xpi - this will fix the issue! You can also mail me directly for support

Very nice and useful addon. I keep my mails for nearly 20 years and need to use many folders. This app makes it easy to manage and distribute the incoming mail in seconds. Thank you for the fantastic support through continuous updates and upgrades

excellent time saver. Will test pre4 for 6. THANK YOU. (Ignore pre-edit comments about stalling t-bird, it's actually a differen add-on that does that, and I just noticed your post with the link to the pre-release version, D'OH!.)

Since today I have a Thunderbird 6.0.1, so I have to wait till this addon is updated.
Because it does not yet work on this Thunderbird version. I hope it will soon be released!!!!

Great addon! One pieceof recommendation though: Could you enable an option to add a separator? I use "Toolbar Buttons" for themes (since it works well with personas), and it would be great if you could have the option to put a straight line/separator just like the one used by TB for its toolbars.Thanks! Quickfolders is the ONE reason I am still using Thunderbird (I have nightmares dealing with text formatting in TB). QuickFolders makes managing e-mails incredibly quick and easy - faster than any other mail client! A must with anyone who gets 50+ emails/day.

Great, most important Add-on. We are eagerly waiting for a version for Thunderbird 5.0 (and yes, now that we felt the importance of QuickFolders, we WILL donate).

Hopefully I will be able to release a version by this weekend - including review time it should be ready for use by the end of next week. In the meantime, you can use this prerelease version:

QuickFolders is one of my favourite add-ons. I use it to manage different email accounts in an efficient way and just to quickly switch between my most used folders. In fact this add-on is already useful when you just have one email account!
The use and options of QuickFolders are straightforward and some clear instructions are available.
Since version 2.7 is not compatible with Thunderbird 5.0 an update would be much appreciated and worth another donation... keep up the good work!

As a consequence of doing business I have accumulated well over 6000 email messages located in 500 folders and sub-folders (up to five levels deep). I am really happy with QuickFolders for easing access to my messages. I actually sent Axel $50USD. If my business ever recovers I will try to do something similar for other extension developers. Money is the best rating system there is.
I've been sending email since about 1985 and using Thunderbird since 2001. It's the best IMO.
I also recommend Allow HTML Temp, CompactHeader, Copy Sent to Current, Folderpane Tools, Manually sort folders, Printing Tools, Quicktext, and Show Address Only.

Ottimo plugin per chi deve gestire più account di posta elettronica con varie cartelle in cui suddividere la posta per evitare di esserne sommerso.
