This is very fast, but I wish I just had these 2 options.
-Remove Ad Placeholder (I'm guessing this slows down performance a bit, but it's a handy feature)
-Being able to disable Bluhell for selected sites. There are some sites I would like to support by being able to disable Bluhell automaticaly.

Hi, I registered just to tell you the addon is great, and to add a suggestion. Could you share the script you use to generate the huge DOMAINS list in the .js, for "advanced" users? so we could update easylist :) An even better thing would be a script to "convert" an adblock plus exported backup, so one could create a custom hellboy with their own filters and ditch adblock completely! Thanks!

This addon replaces Hellboy and adds the commercial-blocking video ability that Hellboy didn't have! Wonderfully light on browser resources (I ditched AdBlocker Plus), and very effective at blocking most all webpage ads! I highly recommend!

It needs some customization options because this addon has been blocking Google shopping for me. It won't even load the pages, I just get a blank page.

Working wonderfully here. I do have one feature request, maybe also implement the Element Hiding Rules of Adblock Plus lists

Moving back to Firefox as Aurora slowly gets the upgrades I've been waiting for. I was completely content using Ad-Block, but I haven't seen a single ad on any of my regular sites using this extension. Don't see any reason to go back. Would be nice to have blacklisting though. The rules have been condensed so much that I don't see how a few more kb's in the extension and a few rules created locally would be that big of performance hit.

Yes, it also blocks that kind of nasty stuff.

HAD AD BLOCK PLUS FOR YEARS NOT TO SAY WAS NOT GOOD IT IS BUT IS HEAVY AS WELL,FOUND IT BLOATED
GAVE HELLBOY A TRY NOT ONLY IS BROWSER NOT SLOWED DOWN AS AD BLOCK DID BUT ALSO BLOCKS EVERYTHING I DONT WANT ,AND BROWSER SEEMS QUICKER LESS BLOAT

Ich habe Jahre lang Adblock Plus verwendet und wollte ,durch die ganzen positiven Bewertungen, HellBoy Firewall mal ausprobieren . Naja, der Seitenaufbau verlief etwas schneller ABER die Lücken für die Werbung blieben und verschwanden nicht so wie bei Adblock Plus oder Reste waren noch da .Auch nach erneutem Seitenaufbau. Ich bleib bei Adblock Plus !!

Eram746: Fanboy's list has recently been merged with Easylist and Easylist is what Fanboy now works on, so Fanboy's list is obsolete. At least that's what the blog says.
Meepmeep: use Adblock Plus (without filter lists) and its Element Hiding Helper to do that.
The combination of this add-on to block general ads with a filterless Adblock Plus (only your own custom rules) to remove anything that's left on the websites you most often go to is the most effective and resource-friendly way to go about it. Glad I found this one because ABP's filters with their many thousands of entries were becoming a serious strain on my resources and making everything slow. Now it's just this one with some custom rules for my own websites in ABP. Works fantastically.

totally amazing does everything you need and does it well. Maybe the name could ket you know about the ad block bit but the description is full so nit a big thing at all. Specially as the Add-on is soooooo good.

Everything is fine except you can't cut the spaces where ads were and doesn't really block all ads, maybe need put the fanboy list, i guess?

Simplistic and functional, I like where this is going, keep it going and up to date!
What I would really like, is to be able to add an address of an ad that isn't being blocked, that is really my only wish.
