It only creates filters for one condition (e.g. "Filter by Email" or "Filter by Subject" - but not both). I never want to filter by only one condition. All of my filters compare both sender and subject so as to be specific and avoid false positives.

WAIT..... Yes, I know you can add additional conditions to the filter as you are creating it but that leads into what ultimately lead me to delete the addon...

IT TRIGGERS AFTER YOU MOVE A MESSAGE. Meaning you can no longer see the message you just moved while you are creating the new filter. Sure, it will copy over whatever ONE condition you selected into the filter, but now when you want to add your second condition (e.g. "Subject Contains") you can no longer reference the message to get the wording right.

Ultimately, I found it added steps to creating new filters vs. just creating filters from scratch while the message is still in your folder and visible for reference.

Its an otherwise good-looking app and I know the developer put a lot time into it. But, ultimately, was not useful for me. Sorry.

wow! I am not an expert script writer and attaching a new button to the quick filter menu bar was pretty tricky. However ChatGPT was able to walk me through debugging my script and it works like a charm!

Seems to work for PDF, but not Excel files. Not helpful for me. Might be for you

How is it that Thunderbird has not already done this very thing in the main app? I can only guess because tbkeys-lite does it already so...why bother.

Been using outlook for decades and I really didn't want to have to re-learn all those shortcuts that are embedded as muscle memory in my fingers. This add-on allows me to turn Thunderbird into Outlook (so far as shortcuts are concerned)

It took a bit to get up to speed but using any of the AI search engines will pretty much get you the text you need to copy and paste in the JSON file to do what you want.
