This add-on will mean my 92yo father and my mom can continue using the computer for emails. His sight and dexterity means he accidentally clicks a column sort and I get phone calls saying all his emails are gone or mixed up. Your add-on SHOULD be default behaviour for the otherwise excellent Thunderbird. I would be happy to "buy you a coffee" if you had a button for that. Thank you and I can confirm it works perfectly on TB 140.3.1esr.

Fantastic addon, have been using it for years... please update for Thunderbird 140, have already clicked the column headings 3 times today and re-ordered my emails!

An essential add-on, to spare the frustration of accidentally sorting columns when intending & missing to click the top email row. Many thanks to the brilliant author, for providing this solution as well as keeping it compatible with new Thunderbird versions!

Thunderbird 115.6.1 で意図通りに機能します！
この拡張機能を実装（インストール）するだけで、メーッセージペインのカラムでの「昇順/降順」機能をロックします。
（偶発的な）意図せぬ並べ替えを防止できるので、意外なほどに有用です。
ロックを解除したい場合は、
［Ctrl］key を押下しながら、カラム操作することでロックは限定的に（「押下」中での一時期は）解除できます。

Prettige add-on, doet wat het moet doen en dat is een mooie aanvulling aan Thunderbird.

Hou hem in de lucht zou ik zeggen.

Nu nog hetzelfde om de breedte van de kolommen vast te zetten. ;)
