please add this feature:
in 'File Duplicate' option -> don't overwrite if sha1 of files is similar.
it will reduce upload time for multiple files.

Wonderful add-on! No need for external clients. You can manage sites, chmod, fxp where permitted, drag and drop files aso.Just one bad thing: it doesn't work with ff4, yet! Hope this will be fixed asap! Yes I know ff4 is still beta, but... please!

I have been using this for years and have supported the dev. It has all the basic tools you need to manage most web based FTP processes. What I don't like is the developers recent need to add links that apparently you cannot delete out in the log window. Not being able to permanently remove developers idea of fine music or websites from the log window is obnoxious and is why this gets only 4 stars in rating.

Nice very utility.
One thought/suggestion - About the multi-window display for source (computer) and destination (website) folders and files, I think only one-window-a-side rather than two-a-side is easier and less confusing to work with.

il existe un soucis avec les répertoires avec accent.
on peut difficilement parcourir les sous répertoires et leur contenu.
de ce fait, on doit renommer les répertoires avec les "caracteres interdits" pour accéder aux données en sous répertoires.
voila, sinon tres bon produit pluggué a firefox.

I have been using this great add-on for over a year now. I definitely makes maintaining my various websites a snap. I can make changes and than switch to a new tab and see the changes immediately.
Please update to FF 4.x Beta x ASAP.

quick and easy ftp from within firefox. how could i not like it? i've been using it for years. my only suggestion is to allow bandwidth throttling, especially for uploads.

Fantastic!!!!! I created an accounted so that I can write this review. Before using FireFTP I was using GFTP under Xubuntu Linux, and while GFTP is quite good, the fact that I can use FTP from within FF makes my life a lot easier. Big thanks to the devs.

Really great add-on. Love it.
Please resize the combobox which contains the list of FTP-servers. It is way to small at the moment. Perhaps you can let the user change the width in px. When will it be available for FF4 (beta)?
