Very useful for me as a web developer, when working with web-hostings, especially "directory sync while navigating".But i've got an issue with fireftp - when addon is enabled, my firefox stops search anything, that a typed in url bar...before if i type paypal and press "enter", then firefox opens me "https://www.paypal.com/" and now i get empty page with "http://paypal/" url.

Light , fast and reliable in OSX . Abandonned all the bloated crap ftp managers and now I do everything through FireFTP .

Amazing FTP proggie. No need to install extra software when I simply need to copy stuff to my webspace. With this great addon, it's all done in the Firefox program.
Greatly recommended especially for portability.

Great plugins! btw, how to fully uninstall this plugins? I tried to uninstall and install again and found out this plugins still have my ftp info.

Looks nice, but I could not get a connection to my web host. The service demanded that the connection be made username@ftp.host.com. This works fine in the browser, but you don't appear to be able to emulate within FireFTP (1.0.7)

Geart job！ Much more convenient to get ftp things done! But I still encounter the problem that files' name in unicode (e.g. Chinese) transfered to ftp would become unrecognized characters and could'nt even be renamed ,downloaded or deleted! So I have to use other ftp softwares to these jobs. Any ideas to fix the problem?

Seems to be a nice add on, but I had a little problem just to start with its installation. When installing FireFTP with Firefox 3.5.7 under Windows Seven Ultimate 64, the install process requests to restart Firefox to terminate the installation. That's OK but when you select the restart option, Firefox stops and that's it (Firefox never restarts). Even if you stop and restart Firefox manually (and I did it several times), FireFTP will not install until you… completely reboot the machine and restart Firefox! I need to make several tests with this add on prior to give more than 3 stars and make a donation or will uninstall it without any other comment if I'm not satisfied. Fair isn’t it?

This is one of my favorite addons on firefox. I just cant do without it. I strongly recommend this to anyone who needs a fast and free uploader right in your browser.

Thanks for this add-on, I wonder if there's a sort of wish-list of functionality to be added on next versions, well if there's one I would really appreciate a file filter option, here's the case; when I finish creating my site on a windows machine, it adds this Thumb.db to all my website directories, and if you have a lot of directories, you got a lot of this "dumbs", so i think a function of filtering the type of files you upload will be helpful and will reduce connections time while transferring big websites.
