it is hard to backup

Version 1.8.1 has a bug where the article's text appears white on the white background if the blue theme is selected (meaning you can't read the text). Looks like this issue started with version 1.8. Other than that this is a great reader.

works real well in both Thunderbird and Firefox.
Thanks Fray Julien!

after update to 1.8 opening TB results in a javascript error "impossible to show view. b.ui is undefined" - is this extension only tested with Firefox while it makes zero sense to have it there instead TB which would also explain the terrible CPU load running insinde TB instead FF

Still the best feed reader I have found, but in v1.8 selecting the blue theme turns the details text to white on white.

Огромное спасибо за русский перевод! (Great thanks for russian translation! It's real pleasure after english;)
And what about top-feeds. Do you plan any type of current history - my usecase often says "It's not new, I've read it 2-3 days ago"

After the installation and restart Thunderbird 17.0.6 nothing happens.
I can click on the blue "Bamboo"-icon, as much as I want. The attempt to start the reader from the menu with the green "Bamboo"-icon also does nothing.
Useless. Deleted.

I've used *a lot* of RSS readers and this one is the best so far. Perfect, 5/5, mark of quality.

One of the best feeders out there since Google Reader is going away

This reader is better than Google reader. Thank you g Google for discontinuing your Reader! I never would have fond this one if you hadn't. It is now on all my computers and synced! That's 2 Windows and 1 Linux, all three with the same groups and feeds and all working perfectly. Thanks Fray for developing this reader!

Decent design, not written for serious use. While importing a large (but not ridiculous) number of feeds, it crashed and I lost all my feeds.
So it's not usable.

This addon is awesome. As far as full-tab RSS feeders go, Bamboo does everything I need and more. It's the best. Except for one tiny detail: it doesn't show the authors of feed entries. It's an important omission, because in some of my feeds the ability to tell the author at a glance is crucial, especially when the content doesn't have that information (specifically, I'm talking about feeds generated by Wikia sites). Could you please add this feature?

Need a new reader now that Google has decided to stop theirs. I liked the way this one looked, but that is about it. It does nothing but crash Mozilla and on restart all my feeds are gone and I have to re-import them. This happens not once every few days but constantly. I have read I am not the only one with this problem and some people have been given the solution of just re-importing their OPML file over and over. That is not a solution. I have had it and am removing this one with some regret as I liked it at first. But what good is anything that does not work.

I love this reader!!
Suggestion: Some feeds have a higher priority then others for me so I was wondering if a feature to dictate display limits on a feed basis?
So...lets say I had *Feed site 1* and *Feed site 2* and I wanted to see 20 article listings from Feed Site 1 but only 10 from Feed Site 2.

Hi,
Is there a way to disable or remove errors thrown in JS console without disable auto-update ?
This is a bit annoying when we are working in console, because they constantly appear...
Anyway, thanks a lot for this great replacement of Google Reader !
Could you send me the error message at bamboo.feedreader@gmail.com ?
Thanks

This reader works great... the only thing I would like to see added is firefox sync (or something similar) integration and the ability to share the reader between Firefox for Thunderbird... But all in all, I have it 5/5.

I searched for hours to find a RSS reader that would do what I wanted. This did it and more. I recommend this to anybody that wants/needs a nice, local RSS reader.

Bamboo Feed Reader is good, because I like its function, design, and so on.
This add-on is one of the favorite add-ons.But there is a request.
I want to select where there is feed data of Bamboo Feed Reader.
Although I know it is in "Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile name>\bamboodata\feeds.json"(in other words, it use Cache Directory),
setting the add-on up, I want feed data of Bamboo Feed Reader to be in "Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile name>."
An example for this is being in "Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile name>\bamboodata\feeds.json."
Would you mind considering about it?
(I'm sorry to be poor at English.)
