And does get better with every update.
Two things I think would top it off.
Open in sidebar many would like.
I myself would love to see it open on bottom like Zotero does.
That would be too perfect! That way I could browse on same window while taking notes as I go without ever changing windows or tabs.

This doesn't have bookmarks synchroniztion. I have Zemanta which is much better than this one for local note taking. Switching to quickfox.

You can set up synchronization using Dropbox though ( www.dropbox.com - great tool in any case, by the way!)

Yes, these notes are quick notes! This tiny tool is just what I need. Tried Quickfox Notes, but didn't like it, becase it stores the notes in a "Quickfox Notes" bookmarks folder that is not definable or placeable somewhere else. Now I discovered QuickNote and it is the best! I love the ability to open it in a tab and that I can save all notes to text files. The only thing left is, I'd like to know where QuickNote itself stores the notes in the FF profile folder?!

It's exactly what I needed to take notes that can open as a sidebar instead of in a new tab or a new window. Very usefull.

Dit is echt een super extensie ! werkt echt geweldig

zeer handig als je snel een notitie wilt maken of als je een berichtje wilt achterlaten voor je partner etc op firefox
bij het openen van firefox verschijnt je notitie in beeld ( dit is een optie )

I've always little notes with one link or a bit text on my desktop, wich makes it confusing ugly desktop. With this it doesn't need to be that way.
A must have addon!

It is really convenient but it could be better.
1-) ctrl + F7 shortcut doesn't work for me. It could be better to assign a custom shortcut by the user.
2-) It lacks a "search" option. You will have to go through all the useless info. to find what u r looking for.
3-) The uninstall button on the options section is annoying.
4-) The window which appears when u close the options menu is annoying. It could be better to say what u have to say in the options menu itself by placing this text message on top of the menu and emphasizing with some red colour.

That is all i can think about it. Hope u will make adjustments for a better version.

Superb product that could be dramatically improved if syncable with Foxmarks...also not sure it allows more than 4 pages of notes, would like opportunity to have as many pages as required. Thanks for super product!
