Like hyperion, I too am having a problem with this program when using FFv!8. Funny, though,..it worked for quite a while before failing. Other than that, I love the program. Makes my life much easier.

it will be very nice
1-If we can use custom background.
2-If we can use custom icon, logo (jpg, png) with dropshadow feature.
3- If we can use completely transparent background and frames. it look very nice with drop shadow effect (please look fast dial screenshoots)
4- all in one built in theme packs with icon background settings. we can easily backup as theme pack and restore it on any computer.

Great addon.
I wish "Open All in New Tabs" function to work within toolbar button too. It only works on page of Speed Dial tab now.

В firefox 18.0 не работает,а конкретно не обновляются миниатюры ,исправьте!
и сделайте что бы миниатуры растягивались не только вверх но и вправо и влево,а то остаётся пространство.

This is an amazing add-on is almost ever way. I say almost because I have noticed how CPU hungry it is.
I was tired of having Firefox using 30% of my i7 CPU while sitting in the background so I disabled all my add-ons and decided to turn them on one by one; every time followed by Firefox restart. After doing so for ~40min (I got 24 add-ons installed) I found out that Speed Dial was to blame as it eat up ~13% of CPU power, even when Firefox was sitting on static page. Definitely something that should be improved.

Works great on FF 17 for me. You may have a conflict or something.

Still the best Add-On to visually manage Bookmarks.
Unfortunately Speed Dial has issues with FF 17. The moment, Speed Dial is opened in a new tab, FF will immediately close completely.

This is the best dial for Firefox (I have 374 dials in 11 groups), fully customizable and full of excellent features (Create groups, colorize you group tabs, different background for each group, and lots more) but the thing that makes it the best is not all these features only.
It's the ONLY dial that allows you to import/export your settings and dials, so you can install it on any computer, do an import of your settings and dials, and you are good to go, FURTHER MORE, it does interval backups of settings & dials on it's own, nothing beats that dial for me!
Thank you developer, keep it up, I love this dial.

I rely on this plugin so much, I have so many pages set on Speed Dial.
When I updated FF not long ago, all my worst fears were realized. Something nasty happened to all of my Speed Dial settings... until I updated Speed Dial to latest version.
All was back to normal... whew!!!
I gladly donated $3.99 for such a valuable addon.
No one is forced to donate, but you can if it makes you feel good.
I read a couple of bad reviews from people who ignorantly made comments without going through the process of updating correctly... ya get all types, don't cha.

почему не отображаются иконки сайтов в спид дюаль в трёх последних версиях. автор вы когда нибудь собираитесь исправлять это баг или нет? или вы только материальную помощь хотите в размере 3 долларов?

This software worked great until a few days ago. Now when I click on it, the first tab of address shows only blank white squares. In order to use the program, I have to click on another tab to get the sites on the first tab to show up. Without doing this I can't use the speed dial web sites on the first tab. Bothersome and distracting. Don't know why, after many months of working just fine, this little glitch suddenly showed up. Must be because of Microsoft automatic updates. They always cause some kind of problem instead of some kind of solution to some kind of a nebulous problem they claim they have found. Anyway, this is a pretty nice piece of software when it's working. For now I grade it a 3-star. Maybe more later if I can get it to perform properly once again.

May I ask you a favour? Because I switch all the time between my stand alone computer and my laptop, I would appreciate to synchronize both on a regularly basis.
What I can find in the exctras is an export function - but no import. It would be perfect, if you could find an easy to handle functionality for that. Thank you very much :-)
Furthermore there is another thing, that is quite annoying: If I want to add a group it shows up at the end of the queue. Because I have a lot of groups by now in a preferenced order, it takes me some time to click-wait-click-wait... to put the new group to the respective order, I would like to have. So: My suggestion is to give also the groups a number and the option to change the order numer of the group itself. If that easy thing is not possible, it would be fine, to drag and drop the groups (like you can do for tabs in FF) or at least an option where you can switch the order of the groups with buttons << < > >> or so without me having to wait (or at least only once when everything is on the right place). Thanks!

Well, at least it doesn't show white squares anymore. Simply crashes FF19 x64 Nightly.
