The latest release I have is 1.2b2pre.

O.K. Found out what the problem is and everybody take notice.
This is Not a Firefox error!
The reason why some Add-Ons, including Stylish will not install as in my case, is because my KIS Firewall was blocking the installation.
Disable your AV, including the Firewall and everything will go as it should.
Darn, so simple!!

Since updating to Stylish 1.07 Firefox needs to constantly reboot and will not install the Add-on. Had this problem before. This is total garbage!!
Reinstalled FF 3.5.4 and still the same problem.

The latest version of Stylish will NOT Install properly and I no longer have my Stylish add-ons. I keep having to reboot Firefox without the Installation taking place.
Ran the checklist that you posted and everything is normal in FF 3.5.4
It's not only Stylish that won't install but some other Add-ons as well.
Some installed O.K. while others will not install, including Stylish!!

I have to agree, this does nothing, unlike the previous working release of Tab Effect. This one has No effect(s) whatsoever, so the developer needs to do some work on this! All this does is open a new Tab without any Effects! Bummer!
