Works as advertised, but I really wish there was a possibility to disable the keyboard shortcut. I'm afraid to hit it by accident and restart the browser by accident, potentially losing work!

Don't know why this not a standard feature, given that mozilla recommend you restart firefox from time to time!

using firefox with lots of addons on a netbook somtimes slows it down to death ...i use the restart as a last resort - its like a refresh button, browser comes back to life & i get to keep my last session (without having to turn on history)
makes a nice addition at the bottom of the All In One Sidebar

File Menu restart works. Bar button works but upon restart it places itself to the far right regardless of initial position. Keyboard shortcut does not work. Cannot alter shortcut command. No matter what key shortcut is used it renders a blank area on the 'File' menu for the altered key. i.e... Default shortcut keys are "accel,alt" which renders as "ctl + alt + R" on the 'File' menu. In settings, replace the "accel" with any other key designation and it's rendered on the 'File' menu as "{blank area - as in nothing at all showing on menu} + alt + R". Bottom line; this add-on needs some serious refinement/work. It's a great idea, but until it actually works as advertize the search continues. Uninstalled.

Question for developer: Why use 'accel' for the alt key when 'alt' is the defacto default?

I'm using 20.0a1 and the button disappears when it is used. It restarts fine, but the button has gone back to the "customize toolbar" window. It's still on the menu and the hotkey still works but the button won't stay.

In fact, even if you have a second window and you set the button and then you close that window and reopen it with Ctrl-Shft-N, the button is gone from that window even though it remains in the main window.

Also if it's in the main window and you open another with Ctrl-N, it's not in the new window.

I've given up putting it back and just use the shortcut, but it would be nice if it worked properly.

Helpful addon,I use it when Firefox takes too much memory, I give it a restart to free some memory resources.
