Forecastfox is by far the best and least intrusive weather add-on there is - and i tried quite a few...

On a side note: Please update your compatibility info for SeaMonkey! It works quite well up to recent nightlies (2.8).

i have firefox 8 and forecast fox seems to work ok except for a small glitch with the icons. the daytime sun icons always show the moon. ive tried different icons but the problem persists. whats up with that?
everything else seems to work great and ive been using it for quite a few years now.

What location are you using? Could you post to the support mailing list and I can try to resolve this?

Has your Forecastfox toolbar disappeared? Go to the top where File Edit View... Help are at and right click in the blank area just right of Help. You should now see checked and unchecked options. One of them should be the "Add-on Bar". If the Add-on Bar is not showing a check this is probably your problem. Click on "Add-on Bar" once to place a check mark to the left of it. That should solve your problem.

ATTENTION! Can't find the Forecastfox toolbar? Bring up the menu bar (windows users, press Alt) and look on the right -- there's the Forecastfox toolbar! Do this while in Forecastfox's options menu and drag it wherever you want.

PLEASE FIX!! I have been using this weather add-on forever and since I upgraded to FF8 the bar has disappeared and I can't get the customization page to load right. It looks like a script error but I cannot figure it out. Please, please fix this as this is the best weather add-on out there!

I used to love this, but since I upgraded to FF8.0, it's stuck on the weather for some Thursday, and does not ever update, although it says it's compatible with up to 10.0. I looked at the Google support group which is where you're supposed to get support, and there hasn't been any traffic there for two months. I loved this plugin, please fix it so I can still love it!

I have used this plugin for years and years. I particularly like the at-a-glance icons and its ability to be customized.

However it hasn't worked since FF 7.0 on Ubuntu 11.04+, so it's hard to give full stars to something which won't work at all for you. :-|

Before it stopped working entirely though, it was looking to me like it was becoming a victim of its own success. Its sheer number of adjustments made setting it up more and more difficult.

Sometimes would not pull in data from AccuWeather.

Also if you live outside the U.S., AccuWeather doesn't supply as much data as it will for U.S. locations. This is fine as they are a U.S.-based service, but Forecastfox is permanently fixed to AccuWeather to get its data. This is reasonable since Forecastfox is probably programmed to get data in the format AccuWeather supplies, but it still means a non-U.S. user will get less-than-complete data.

Overall it's a good plugin but it could be streamlined and improved.

Firefox 7.0: Right now for me this is only visible when I add the menu bar. I seem unable to move it to the add-on bar on the bottom. The plus sign has disappeared. This is a net book and I don't want the menu bar showing.

Otherwise I love this add-on. It is very responsive even on my netbook. Thank you!

Good: Works perfectly with FF v7.0.1. Nice animated radar map. Decent customization. Plenty of weather icons.

Not so good: 'Display location name on toolbar' sort of does not work - have to play little bit more; no choice for different weather sources: accuweather.com might be accurate for USA but not for Canada, Europe...

I am diehard user of Weather Watcher so after further comparison will provide additional feedback.

I just tried this version 2.0.19 and it installed perfectly on Firefox 7.01 on a Dell Windows Laptop.

我的现在是火狐6.0版，在附加组件栏中，显示晚上也是太阳，当我们本地时间是晚上时，表示晚上的天气预报有可能是月亮。在以前的版本也是这样，显示白天与夜晚的图标不准确。

Das Programm macht eigentlich genau, was es verspricht. Also Top. Die Wetterdaten sind zwar meist nicht mehr aktuell, aber bei welchem Wetterdienst ist das schon. Störend finde ich die Konfiguration über das Webinterface und keine Datei
