Hi, for use with FF7 and above download the .xpi file, open with WinRAR, open install.rdf with Wordpad, edit "maxVersion" in Firefox section from 5.* to 8(or higher if you choose).*, open FF Add-Ons, install from file. For me it works on all my computers.

Liked the concept, BUT every time the forecast refreshes, it causes the entire Firefox window to jump. The cause is when it old forecast is refreshed, Firefox adjusts the window for the missing item, then jumps again to allow space for the refreshed forecast. I had to disable the add-on because the jumping screen was so irritating.

The radar feature is delayed, and once you hover over it, it is stuck on that time until you restart Firefox. It is also not very accurate to begin with.

I'm a big fan of color, but for some reason the big colorful displays in the new Forecastfox put me off. I feel like this useful tool has been redesigned to appeal to preschoolers or something.
Part of the problem is that the pop-ups are too big. They cover up too much of the screen. And I don't know whether it's my computer or what, but the actual text is in very small type and is hard for me to read.
I have reverted back to old reliable 0.9.10.2. I wish an alternative version using the old display could be made available with the modern bug fixes and actual improvements.

This used to be fantastic, but the redesign leaves much to be desired. I found myself constantly trying to dismiss irritating weather popups whenever my mouse accidentally hovered over the forecast. With no way to disable this "feature", I found that the add-on was more trouble than it was worth.
Lots of promise, hampered by bad design.

I've used this add on for over a year. I installed it on my W7 x64 bit machine running FF6 and could not see the Forecastfox toolbar. I'm used to seeing this at the bottom of the window and so I enabled the add-on bar, but could not see it. I enabled the menu bar at the top, by right-clicking at the top of the window, and there it was. I then used the 4-arrow icon to drag it down to the add-on bar.

Every time I install the newest Firefox update release(which seems to be every other week), this plugin stops working. Then I have to google search for how to re-enable this plugin. Too much of a pain. I'm giving up on this thing.

Forecast Fox 'options' not working on my laptop and the add-on sometimes appears in the menu bar and sometimes not.

The crash when i hover forecastfox was a nightly bug which is now fixed.

Awesome and very useful add-on. I'm using for a long time and find it cool.
Some bugs introduced in Firefox 8.0a1 64-bit (Nightly; traps when hover on weather icons), but this may be Firefox alpha version bugs.

Been noticing the weather icons seem to be giving the wrong idea about the weather. When it's sunny they show it is raining and vice versa. Well? What good is a weather predicting add on if you don't get the right forecast????
I contacted them and they are aware of the issue, however iti is still happening... Time for another add on?

I noticed that the Forecastfox radar doesn't update. At first, I was thinking it was due to having a 64 bit laptop that is new, then I remembered that it doesn't work on my office computer either which is 32bit. And yes, I've uninstalled and reinstalled at both locations with no luck. I'm running Firefox 5.0 and Forecastfox 2.0.19 on Windows 7 and Windows XP, if that helps. When it worked, I loved .. but now... hmmm...

Installed for FF5, restarted FF, shows I have the addon installed but I don't see it anywhere. Nothing in the taskbar, no icons, nothing to show the addon is even there! I tried the "support" forum, but mostly there are just questions that are OLD with no answers! I sure hope this addon is still being supported...

This extension seems to work properly, but there are no instructions about how to set it up and be able to start using it, that I was able to locate. The screenshots appear to be from Firefox 3.6 or earlier, and how many Firefox users are using a Mac.
