I have been using this add-on for quite some time and am constantly seeing that the information that it renders is often very wrong. I just eMail AccuWeather.com and the monitoring station for my area, a part of a large metropolitan area, is many many miles North of our city center. So that means we do not get accurate weather or storm reports. Which in our part of the country can vary severely from mile to mile. This is not a good source of weather information by their own admission. It is pretty though. That's why one star. Too bad it's not better connected to the areas weather stations.

Hey. Version on my PC is 2.0.12 released on 10 march 2011, and here you have only 2.0.2? And it says this supports 5.*, but 2.0.12 doesnt. Btw, i've installed latest version from this site and it upgraded to 2.0.12 on itself. I will have to add to the words of others. Make the damn option to suppress popups!

Compatibility with Firefox 5 is great. However I am disappointed that there has been no fixes or improvements to this extension in quite a while. For example, Max UV display and more customization options. Time to look at other extensions.

I love the functionality of this addon, but it currently installs in a way that makes it impossible to use in the portableapps version of firefox.

It's ok..the only problem I have is that it is stuck all the way down on the add on bar and there is noway for me to drag it up as shown in your pictures...

if you can tell me how i can do so, I'd rank this a 5.

My Forecastfox only updates the temperature and other weather conditions once every 20 or 25 minutes. Is that correct? That is not very current. Is there a way to make it update more often?

Nope. I went ahead and removed this add-on. Not only does it only update every 25-35 minutes (not exactly current) it also does not match the temp. from the website it draws from (accuweather)! Can't someone simply make a simple weather alert that works?!

I uninstall the 2.x and I reinstalled the old 0.9.9 version. Is by far the BEST version if you want more info about weather and has more results and an integrated way to trim the results. I hope 0.9.9 version will support Firefox 4 ( or I have to try some other add-ons. The new version stinks).

Forecastfox Weather is certainly better than nothing, but the sad fact is that it is nowhere near as good as Forecastbar Enhanced was. I miss it.

hi, and thanks for the job

please, will it be possible to have simply a button to show/hide the forecastfox bar, with the possibility of choosing if it appears when hovering or clicking
